Absolutely amazing food. Loved the complimentary coleslaw that comes with the chips/salsa. Food was impeccable and fairly priced. Size of burrito had me swearing (shocked, but glad) as it arrived to the table! Will definitely be back.

Food was amazing! Very fresh! The Hawaiian quesadillas and a specialty dish with shrimp, chicken, steak, pineapple and peppers served in a 1/2 carved pineapple were out of this world! Perfect margarita was so delicious! Portions are large and not expensive! 3 entrees, 1 appetizer and 2 top shelf margaritas came to $80. I would definitely recommend this place!

Who knew a great Mexican restaurant would be on the corner of 44 and 82…not me. The food is amazing, the portions, massive. The price is perfect….tbh better with your portions. Their service is attentive and in point. The atmosphere is fantastic. We live to dine out
…who doesn’t. Nothing is over cooked. 5 out of 5. If your not from the area they are worth the drive.

My meal at this Mexican restaurant was excellent! The food was served quickly and was delicious, from the complimentary corn chips and salsa to my main dish. The well-presented and tasty cocktails were a perfect complement to the meal.

Make sure you’re wearing your stretchy pants.
The portions are beyond generous, and the burritoes are stuffed to capacity.
Wow.
Guarantee you won’t be leaving hungry and probably won’t have much room for dessert, so just take it home for later.
10 out of 10 across the board on everything.
From cleanliness to a very warm, comfortable, and inviting decor that is nicely lit to great staff that is welcoming and friendly.
I am so glad to have this establishment in our hometown.
And I look forward to many more great meals here.
And we highly recommend the Tex mex egg rolls for appetizers, and it’s plenty for two.

We went to Los Venados two different evenings. One night was around 7 pm on a Thursday, I believe. It wasn’t very busy. The service wasn’t great that night. The people were nice and all, but they never refilled our chips and salsa, which the kid likes to eat. They just didn’t seem very attentive this night. The food was great. It is a little more pricey than some of the other Mexican places I’ve been to, and still go to. The second evening was around 5 pm on a Friday. It was decently busy on this night, but the service was way better. The staff was friendly as always, but this time our server was on top of everything. Refilling drinks, chips, salsa and coleslaw. The food was great again. One thing I wish they’d work on is offering some Wi-Fi or something. This place is a dead zone for my cellular signal. Now, that could be a good thing if you have difficulties with your kids always being on their phones, but it could also be super annoying if you’re trying to meet up with people or check in on a babysitter, and aren’t able to due to no signal. Not a deal breaker by any means, but definitely something to be aware of if you need communication while you’re here. Parking is pretty easy. Plenty of space and easy to enter and exit. I’m sure we’ll go to this place again, especially since it’s pretty close to home.

Last week my wife and I stopped in and we both ordered the El Grande burritos. They were so big they brought them out on platters. I guessing they used a 16″ tortilla to make them.
This week we were running late so I thought I would just order one to go. They come with cheese sauce and sour cream on them, that made them a bit too rich for us, so we ordered them without that, but ordered 4 extra salsas. When I got home I looked at it, and it was made with a 8″ tortilla (It was in an 8″ foil pan). It was thicker than the ones we ordered in the restaurant but was still less food than the burrito I had in the restaurant. They also didn’t give me the 4 salsas I ordered either.
Their food is great, and affordable but inconsistent.

Excellent! Great food, great service, great place to spend some time with friends, family, both or enjoy a meal on your own. Just be prepared to wait in line as this is a small seater and the area is in desperate need of places to sit down, relax and chow down. So nice to have a new restaurant in Mantua and the town has turned out! For appetizers the tabled ordered Street Corn & Nachos Supreme. The nachos were a meal in themselves and came loaded. The toppings served on a separate plate, the lettuce, diced tomato, jalapenos, sour cream & jalapenos. I rarely have nachos served to me these days such as these. Usually I am disappointed getting some chips with just a hint of actual ingredients thrown on top but these were a sight to behold! A throw back to when kitchens cared when what they sent out to tables mattered. I was hopeful for the main courses and was not disappointed. The main course was Seafood Chimichanga but I asked them to hold the tilapia and just add more crab and shrimp instead. It was served with refried beans and rice and was so large it actually was 3 meals for me. It had flavor. It was fresh! All of it was really, really good. All the portions were large which can be seen in the photos. Also ordered was Enchilada(6) Mexicana, refried & beans came with, 12 BBQ wings( large wings which were highly rated), a Chica burger(unbelievable size, also highly rated) and 1 beverage. Prices were reasonable. Oh, and I just returned from Texas where I spent weeks eating a lot of Mexican food, good and bad. More bad than I care to remember. I am thrilled Los Venados is in the neighborhood. I’ll be there often. Hope to see ya there!!

I can’t believe I never posted a a review the first time I was here because the place is amazing.
I know what you’re thinking, how can this place have good Mexican food in the middle of nowhere. It does !
I moved back from California after being there for 20 + years and it is hard to find good Mexican food in the Cleveland area but this place is comparable. Their birria tacos were amazing, carne asada tacos were also amazing.
Their carnitas was juicy and flavorful as well as their burritos. If you want to try something fun get the stuffed pineapple. There was so much meat in there I couldn’t eat even a quarter of it. You know if it’s a good Mexican place f there beans are good and they are! Their salsa could use some work but the hot sauce is on point.

This place is worth the drive!! I wish it was closer. Plus, they now have their liquor license.

I highly recommend this place!!
