Cherry Lanes in Sturgeon Bay is one of those places that instantly feels welcoming; like being surrounded by friends you just haven’t met yet. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and full of energy.

4 bowling alley lanes, bar, variety of arcade games, and handful of pool tables make up the joint. There is a relaxing, fun vibe to the place. We enjoyed playing the arcade games and I think they were setting up for a pool tournament or league. Didn’t get a chance to try the bowling or food, but would come back to try both at a later time.

We went here during Fire & Ice Festival – a busy day to be sure, with grace to be given. However, they had two bartenders working their fairly large bar with no real system. And didn’t they know this would be a busy day and to staff accordingly? We waited over 20 minutes to close our tab. In that time, we also got to witness one of bartenders yell at an older gentleman who was (understandably) frustrated at waiting an hour for a turkey sandwich and chips, after being told it would be 30 minutes. Super unprofessional behavior from the bartender filled with expletives (disproportionate to the original comment made by patron), and another gentleman who we presumed to be the owner or some type of management, sort of intervened? We finally closed our tab, left an appropriate tip for the service and behavior we witnessed, and walked down the street to an equally busy Cedar Crossing and received exponentially better service in addition to better drinks/value.

Super happy with this place. The games are all reasonable to play. Most are $.25. Lots of fun vintage games. The bowling alley looked fun .
Bar was great with affordable drinks and the pizza looked pretty good.
Great spot for all ages. Both my 5 year old and myself had fun playing the vintage arcade games and pinball machines.

We had our wedding reception at Cherry Lanes, and it could not have been any more perfect!! Everyone we worked with was so kind and professional, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! They helped us make our day so special, and literally every one of our guests said that we had the best wedding reception they’ve ever been to. Between the bowling, pool, arcade games, and friendly atmosphere, everyone had so much fun the whole night- so much so that we had to really pull people away to usher about 2 dozen of our family and friends out at the end of the night. If you’re looking for a unique experience where there’s something for everyone, this is definitely the place you’ve been looking for!!

Adorable vintage bowling alley and arcade. The bar makes it a great atmosphere for adults, but kids are definitely welcome as well. We didn’t get to bowl. There were only a few lanes, so plan ahead. But the bar, arcade games, and darts were enough to make a fun evening for our family.
