I wanted to love this food. Truly. I’m BT so I’ve had real Chinese food before. This is really poor.

Pros: everything was fully cooked, not overcooked, not soaked in grease or dry. The soup appeared to have all the correct ingredients except meat. The dumplings were cooked well, not too large or small or dry. Egg rolls were exceptionally cooked. Sesame chicken is give a B+. Good flavor balance, very sweet like standard American orange/sesame chicken.

Cons: hot and sour soup was not salted and not sour. Just spicy. I literally added white vinegar and salt.
The egg roll is filled with cabbage. No seasoning.
Steamed dumplings are filled with ground chicken. That’s it. No veg. No seasoning.
“Fried rice” is not fried rice in any way. It’s died yellow (maybe turmeric or saffron) and has the peas and carrots. A tiny bit of scrambled egg. Not actually fried. No soy sauce. No salt. No seasoning.
Garlic green beans were cooked perfectly. No salt. No flavor. No seasonings. I see garlic. Can’t taste anything.
Chicken and veggies have no salt. No seasoning. I don’t get how they got a brown sauce when there’s no salt or seasonings.
Mongolian beef is more white onion than beef. Too much chilis. No salt. No seasonings.
Beef and veggies is cooked beautifully. Ingredients were fresh not frozen. No salt. No seasonings.

I am so frustrated. I got $180 worth of food (lots of leftovers) and I have to pour salt and shoyu on all of it because there’s No Flavor Whatsoever. I’ve been told kosher Chinese is terrible. I didn’t really believe it. I really wanted to like it. My entire family stopped eating.

Please do better.

Food is ok. Some great, some good and some has a better name than the taste. I would go again, but probably not order most of the items a second time.

New ownership. Place is cleaner and food has been WAY better. I had the crispy Mala chicken. Incredible. Slightly smokey, touch spicey, and balanced. Exactly what I think of when I want good Chinese. Just a new experience compared to what I had there prior. Sushi is also looking incredible, although I did not grab any this round. Definitely on my top 3 list in the Cleveland area, and I been places!!

They went above and beyond making beautiful sushi and getting it to us as I was in the hospital. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was as ordered with special requests! They even plated the sushi on little to go boats which was so cute! The Chinese food was delicious and the chicken and beef so tender. The sauces were not overly sweet and had great flavor to them! My husband loves their Mala Beef and is so impressed at the spice level which is hard to find in kosher restaurants, and we both enjoy the chicken and broccoli. The egg rolls was a little greasy but that is to be expected with fried food and it was very good as well! The wonton soup is also good especially on a cold day! Every time we come to Cleveland we plan to stop here, it seems with new owners Jade is doing great!

I even though the place looks rundown compared to their expensive prices, the gentleman at the counter was very nice. Unfortunately the food wasn’t as nice as. The chicken wings were ridiculously chewy and definitely tasted more than a day old. The worst part of the wings is the amount chicken feathers that were left on it as if they definitely skipped out on the plucking portion of the process. The soup is too small and will not fill you up at all! Lastly the chicken is extremely bland and could use some seasoning… In total I paid almost $80 but didn’t touch half of the meal ‍♀️ ‍♀️ ‍♀️

Very authentic Chinese. I really enjoyed the General Tso’s chicken very deep Umami flavor and a good kick. I also really liked the orange chicken it has a very fragrant flavor. Also the sushi guy makes the best carrot corn rolls if you know. The only thing Jade needs is more seating on Sundays you gotta take to go.
Love how they redid this place.

The best Chinese I have ever tasted. The sweet and sour chicken was super fresh! The beef lo mein was so flavorful and fresh. The french fries were perfectly salty and crispy. Even the drinks were freezing cold!

The staff are very fast and nice. This is a small place but most of the people that came in while i was there ordered take out. When i arrived here i thought that this place was just a regular shop with nothing special to offer. Happily i was wrong. The food tasted fresh and had good flavors. The wait for my food was very short. I feel that the value is there.

The food at Jade Kosher is absolutely DELICIOUS – totally worth coming for. The space itself is cramped, a little dirty, and loud, so don’t expect fine dining vibes. Also, I went to wash my hands and the plastic soap bottle was so gross I didn’t even want to touch it. Like .. if the soap is nastier than the germs, that’s a problem. Still, the food makes up for it – it’s worth putting up with everything else.
