Awesome family owned and operated restaurant! Their menu is largely based on their grandmother’s recipes and once we began feasting, it was evident why. Since the menu is based on their grandmother’s recipes, we wanted to try several of their dishes so we ordered accordingly and dined family style. The dishes were amazing and the service was impeccable! If you’re in the area, dining here is a must!

Outstanding. We had the boiled crawfish, boiled shrimp, and alligator bites, and everything was spot on. The crawfish were seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of heat, easy to peel, and super fresh. The boiled shrimp were big, flavorful, and cooked just right.
The alligator bites were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired great with the dipping sauce.
Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

We had a delightful experience here. We saw Pinchers when we were passing through Maurice. The reviews online convinced us to try it. We arrived around 5:45 pm on a Friday. There was plenty of parking, and we got a table for 3 immediately. The hostess was very nice, and our server Lanie (sp?) was incredible- so friendly and professional. Ask for her! The space itself is very appealing with large colorful art, a word mural, and giant chalkboards. I peeked at the bar area, and it is beautiful. Our food was delicious! We especially loved the crawfish wontons! The flavor in the “stuffing,” the crunch of the wonton, and the sweetness of the Steen’s syrup was some kind of magic. Our entrees came with a garden salad, and I am always so appreciative when salad is served on a cold plate, and it is here. All of our entrees were terrific, as well. I asked Lainie which was her favorite dessert, and she said the bread pudding, so we got that. Absolutely delicious! The creme anglais sauce was perfection. I’d choose to drive to Pinchers from Lafayette any day of the week! Truly a lovely experience with great food!

Everything me and my girlfriend ordered was great my problem is that when I asked the lady was the fish on the menu catfish and she said yes and we ordered the coastal combo it was good, the fried fish on the other hand was ok I just knew it wasn’t fried catfish. BTW the pinchers house sauce was good, not like other restaurants that just throw any kind of sauce together and call it there own.

The food was so good, Fresh and hot. Tiffany, our server, was amazing by far the best southern hospitality and service we have had in a long time. The atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definetely will be making this our new spot. It was also good to meet the manager and get great service at closing time.

Our first experience at Pinchers was fantastic! We had friends visiting for the holidays who are from Louisiana but now live in Texas. They were craving authentic Louisiana cuisine before returning home. I’m happy we chose Pinchers, as everything was delicious. Our server, Shelby, provided excellent service. We definitely plan to return!

I’m not gonna take anything away from the flavor, the food is good and very flavorful however $23.97 for a shrimp boat that came with 10 grilled shrimp 1 side I chose garlic bread and had water. That pricing is insane. Until they figure out how to appropriately price their menu or give portions that represent the high price they charge I won’t be able to justify returning.
