Choosing to eat here is a gamble every time. My family orders from bbq station a couple of times a month since they’ve opened, and there’s always something wrong. From missing food, wrong orders, or bad brisket quality, ect, it’s always something. I’ve always excused it because the staff are well mannered and mean well, but after getting a chicken tender plate today with small 3 1/2 inch tenders, I’m done with this place. Pictured is a $15 dollar chicken tender plate.
If you like gambling with dinner, go ahead, but my family won’t be ordering from this place ever again.
Edit: 1 star to 3 because I ain’t hungry no more.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I don’t feel that some of the reviews fairly represent this restaurant. I’ve been here several times and have always enjoyed my meals. I’ve also recommended it to visitors in the area, and they’ve had positive experiences as well. Today I ordered lunch for the office, and once again, everyone enjoyed their food. I will continue to recommend this place.

This place is definitely hit or miss. We should have read all the reviews before going. Most reviews experienced the same things…dried out meat, small portions, food not tasting fresh, unfriendly workers. Our brisket sandwiches were full of fat, little beef. We got them to go and ended up throwing them away. Also, when your customers feel the need to measure your chicken tenders to show how tiny they are, try listening instead of defending! The owners have a great opportunity to fix the problems instead of getting defensive with complainants. When you repeatedly see the same complaints, take ownership!

It was ok but we think the o e in Hammond has better food and prices. 2 pulled pork with 2 sides and drinks came to $34+. There many buffets with AYCE for less money.

The food I got was pretty good everything tasted pretty decently well made. The sausage I got was very tough to eat though like I had to gnaw at it to bite some off and wasn’t very enjoyable. The main complaint is that the employees where veryyyy mellow like they all looked like they hated every ounce of being there like I get it I hate being at my job too but cmon

Was good for the 1st time trying. Clean on the inside and everyone was very friendly.
The beans, potato salad, chicken, and sausage were very good. The ribs we okay, but I do not think they we cooked the day we bought them. They have to be fresh cooked to be to be really good.
Will be going back soon to try the brisket and the pulled pork.

Got the bbq brisket on bun it was nothing but fat and grease nasty like they scraped the scraps on the bottom of pan slap on bun.

We ate here for the first time. Brisket sandwhich was delicious and ribs were falling off the bone. Definitely recommend this place for great BBQ

Grabbed a bite for lunch yesterday service was fine but plate was 21 dollars without a drink side of cabbage and beans tasted great with good portions but the brisket was dry over cooks and they gave me the end that was completely dried out and tougher then beef jerky this piece should not have been served. This was over priced for a single meat plate.

Heard good things about the food so first trip would be the last. The chicken was days old, dried up and white meat was brown it was so old. Brisket was cut with the grain, stringy and chewy plus we only got 2 small slices and 2 very small end pieces. Sausage had a tough casing and was also dried up….we should have looked in the box before taking it out and driving back to Albany only to feed it to the dog. We called which we never do and was told by the lady who boxed our food that she was aware of the condition of our food, that the fresh food was still in the oven but ours was leftover from the weekend and that was all they had left due to the big concert BUT if we wanted to come back today she would give us fresh hot food. We said “So not only did you give us less brisket than the 1/2 lb we ordered because that’s all you had and you knew the chicken was days old you sold it to us anyway, $33.00….her comment was my boss expects me to sell everything. We declined because we will never go back. You young lady who took our order was kind. Check your food before you leave if taking out
