We came here after my son became depressed going to Outlaw Pass. Not Outlaw’s fault, just he was so excited to ride the go karts, and as he’s standing there to get on he became overwhelmingly scared of the activity. Though they have an arcade and mini golf there, I thought seeing the go karts in the distance wouldn’t really improve his mood. Luckily the fun games here distracted him. Also luckily, since we didnt know what we were going to have for dinner, this solved this issue. I really liked that it was just buffet and they came with drinks. Simplicity is best. They also had bumper cars which would have been really cool if my kid didnt have ptsd from the go karts. Maybe when he’s a little older. They did a great job decorating for Valentine’s with plenty of photo ops. The smores pizza was unexpected and yummy. Great salad options. One thing I will say, ans this isn’t just for Gatti’s but this is for Peter pipers as well, this trend of “one shot” games where you hit a button once, isn’t indicicitive to fun game play, especially for children. I really wanted to try the cotton candy machine. That looked fun. But for whatever reason the kids I was with said it would be too much sugar for the night.

New to the area and looking for pizza! Never been to a Mr Gattis before, but I do believe I just found my pizza fix location here.
Did you know they will even make you a pizza of choice for the buffet at no extra charge? Christopher said they can make Abe kind of pizza. You can’t beat that!
Many thanks to Christopher, Maria, and Leonard, such good people here all around!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

The best Mr. Gattis in Texas!! Very clean and welcoming! I have gone to Houston and El Campo Mr. Gattis’s and nothing can compare to this one. Cotton candy machine, all you can eat ice cream , pizza, and salad food is fresh and hot also all new and improved games with an amazing ticket prize selection. Restrooms are very clean as well ,definitely will drive an hour to come back !!

Most of the staff are rude, uptight and oddly constantly around by just a few feet watching – making the atmosphere suffocating. Their “adult” buffet starts at 11 years old. I was so baffled by this and normally would have left immediately but I was meeting others there. The manager borderline harassed 3 underage girls about eating while we were organizing payments – even after they paid, the manger yelled at them that they can’t eat and I had to correct her again to stop bothering the kids. The staff is just oddly sad, serious, uptight.. just a depressing place. Do not recommend and won’t be back.

Omg!!!!! We finally have a Mr. Gatti’s in town again. It has been years since we had the old one on Navarro street almost back to my childhood. This new location is on Laurent in the shopping area near the Box Coffee and the Crossroads Arthouse. It’s rather big and even has a To-go drive in lane in the works!

Buffet is all you can eat for about $17. (Well I think it was $14 and I tipped them.)

Anyway it’s just how I remember it: the food still tastes so excellent. Compared to Pizza Hut, the pizza is so much better and very tasty. All varieties but my favorite is cheese, pepperoni, and hamburger. They also have amazing spaghetti with marinara sauce, cooked vegetables, macaroni and cheese, breadsticks, and desserts like cinnamon sticks. It all tastes very good and they have a wide assortment of fountain drinks.

Today was the second day after opening day yesterday so it was rather busy when I went around 3 pm. The staff is still learning cleaning procedures and they took my drinks away from the table a few times..I went all by myself so no one was there to guard the table and my food for me.

Arcade looks amazing though I couldn’t afford it today. Lots of games, prizes, bumper cars….so fun. Establishment clean and staff polite.

Definitely check it out if you’re a fan of pizza and buffet!! 🙂

Food is pretty good and fresh, noticed them rotating it pretty frequently.

Be aware the games only pay out at half what the screen tells you. Feels really shady they say you win 1 amount and gives you less.
