If you plan on spending time in a coffee shop, I would recommend going somewhere else. Every time I come in, without exception, there is an individual with a massive shopping cart full of foul-smelling garbage in the center of the seating area. It’s really a shame because the baristas there are very nice and do a great job. I hope management can do their part and fix this to do justice to the people who enjoy coming here.

I can’t believe I’m typing this up about a Caribou Coffee. Not sure if I went in on training day or something but the experience was just awful.
After placing my order, just two drinks, I waited for close to 15 minutes while other orders that were placed after mine were filled and customers sent on their way. I would not have minded the wait except that the entire time I was waiting, the two young baristas spent joking around and complaining about only having one blender for all the orders they were taking. Unfortunately, during their joking around, one mentioned that there were more blenders in the back ready to be used but that would require one of the two to go and get one. Of course, neither one wanted to go and grab one. When I asked about my order after 15 minutes, I was told, “Oops. We’ll get right on that.” In the 15 minutes that I was waiting, I heard no less than 3 other customers grumble about their online orders not being ready yet, one of which had been placed more than 20 minutes earlier. At one point, another customer came in one door, saw the line of customers waiting for orders and walked out the opposite door after asking one of us in line how long we had been waiting.
To put the icing on the cake, when my order was finally ready, both drinks were absolutely horrible and undrinkable. You know the coffee has to be bad when my wife, an avid coffee drinker, dumps hers down the sink. Never again will we visit this Caribou. Every other Caribou we’ve been to has been great but this one on York Ave. in Edina has some work to do.

Pretty busy on a Friday morning at 11 AM.
. there is a standing bar and tables and chairs they may think to expand this caribou,because of the amount of people(mostly business) . More tables and chairs are needed with that being said the baristas were friendly and accommodating to my extra hot water request

Staff members were polite while the atmosphere was wonderful. The Cold Brew growler I received was very pleasant, smooth with no sourness. Keep it up will definitely be back!
