After reading all the great reviews I couldn’t decide on what to get. I decided on the ginger dish and my husband got the lamb curry. It was excellent! We also got the steamed pork dumplings and hot and sour soup. We have leftovers for days! Portions are great. Definitely recommend this place.

The Google or Yelp high review gave us confidence to dine in for my son’s 15th birthday. We have ordered three dish 1) Cumberland lamb, 2) three cup chicken, 3) bamboo spicy pork. We are blowed away by 1 and 3). 2) could be better compared what we known in the typical Taiwanese restaurant. Anyway our overall experience is great. We will definitely comeback again. We were surprised that we have not tried in the last few years as it’s next door is where my son came every weekend to improve his mandarin Chinese language.

The food is very good but it’s best experienced dine-in (for freshness especially the fried foods). This is where this place falls a little short. The dining room has an unusual ambiance, think abandoned dance club and when we have gone there’s hardly anyone there. I assume at least part of issue is due to all of the take-out orders. That said, we do love the taste, quality, portions and value here, so we do recommend it.

I tried the Wild Thai Chili Beef — it was okay. I’m not a fan of cilantro, so I had to pick it off, but I’ll be sure to ask them to leave it out next time. I asked for it less spicy, and unfortunately, it ended up having no spice at all. Next time, I’ll just stick with the original spice level.

The Wonton Soup was a pleasant surprise — the broth was light and flavorful, and the three wontons were very good. The Pork Egg Rolls were crispy and generously filled. The Fried Rice really stood out; I usually don’t care for fried rice, but this one was really good. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.

4.5 stars: I really liked the good beef stir fry noodle.

Stir fry rice cakes were pretty good too.

Wonton chip complimentary at the start of meal and fortune cookie at the end is a cute touch.

Entree items come with rice.

Soup dumplings were ok, not too special so I’d probably skip that next time. Salt and pepper shrimp was ok too, better than the soup dumplings but I wish they cooked the onion more.

UPDATE: Tried this restaurant for a second time and it is still serving up amazing food ! I asked for the wild Thai beef to be less spicy and I was quite delicious, I love that they add cilantro and celery to it for extra crunch. The salted pepper shrimp was amazing definitely a must try ! Food was done in 20 minutes for my to-go order. Clean restaurant as well . This place is a must try in Katy!!!

I got the pan fried pork dumplings , spicy fried chicken bites/w fried rice , Dan Dan Noodles and the cream cheese crab ragoons.
The dumplings were my favorite part especially with the side of chili oil that they gave. The nice crunch matched with the soy sauce gave a really flavorful bite. I would definitely get these again.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the Spicy fried chicken bites. It had a lot of texture but was simply too hot for my liking.
The Dan Dan noodles had little meat with it and it was 85% noodles so that was disappointing.
The Ragoons were good , tasted like a more elevated version of Panda Express which is expected.
Definietly a must try resturant

We ordered Ma bo tofu, Singapore noodle and sautéed lamb with cumin. Good presentation, fresh and moderate potion (dine in 2 people, and bring to go home some left). Served with steamed white rice on side. Personally a bit salty, otherwise I’ll put five stars.

Coming here for the first time! We ordered several dishes! Personally, I ordered mapo tofu with mild spiciness but the dish was very spicy ️ plus pepper corn was pretty strong
If they make less spice and pepper corn then that would be much better for my taste but I like the flavor!

Their portion is generous and plenty! My friends ordered general tofu and sour potatoes stuffs and they are good!

Plenty tables to serve people here and the vibe is nice! It doesn’t look like an authentic Chinese environment but more like modern style!

I’ll come back again! 🙂
But hope they make foods a bit less spicy ️
Cheers

The food was so tasty! We would go back for the dumplings alone! The rice is cooked perfectly. We had the peppered beef, not for those who don’t like spice, it was excellent. We will be back again. The wait staff was kind and attentive. The restaurant has oy been open 3 months and it is fantastic.

I had high hopes for this place because of the recommendations. I will say that the food is cooked very well and it looks delicious.  But everything was so sweet! I’ve never had sweet chicken and broccoli before. Even the Kung Pao chicken was sweet and it’s supposed to be a spicy dish.  The fried rice had very little flavor.
I gave this restaurant 3 stars because my daughter liked her choices (sesame chicken, lo mein and fried dumplings).  But my husband and I give it a 1 star because it was loaded with sugar.  We couldn’t eat much of it. The egg rolls were the only things we enjoyed.
We wanted to try something new but we should have stuck with our usual, Z&T’s, which is also less expensive.
By the way, the service was great. No complaints there.
