This was a nice hidden gem we stopped into while traveling cross-country.
Service was great, food was fresh and hot and well DELICOUSLY slap yo momma Good! The locals are lucky to have such a tasty place get a quick bite to eat at.

I ordered the pastor plate. My partner got beef enchiladas .The portions were generous and tasty. We also ordered chips and salsa. The salsa, while tasty, was more along the lines of the broth a Mexican shrimp cocktail is in. We ended up getting the salsas out of the salsa bar and dipped the great chips (fresh, thin, and crisp) in those. The refried beans and rice tasted authentic and not out of some box or packet. The restaurant is not fancy on the inside but the help was friendly. Our meals were served on disposable plates, but that that had no bearing on the flavor or quality of the meals – which for a town the size of Childress was a pleasant surprise.

We were on our way back home and wanted to eat before heading out. We drove all over Childress due to a map error and then decided just to go back to the restaurant by the hotel we stayed at, and come to find out it was the restaurant we were looking for. When we walked in they were a bit busy but there was plenty of tables available. You walk to the register to order your food. There are menus to see and there are also pictures on the wall with numbers to help you order. We got breakfast foods and the kids got bean soft tacos with a side of rice. We also ordered Horchata and Jamiaca Aqua Fresca. It was all delicious!

The food here is really good. I had the tacos and they were some of the best I have ever had. The shell was crispy, never got soggy, and didn’t fall apart. The restaurant is clean and the people there are incredibly nice and willing to answer any questions you might have. We will definitely be back.

Food was horrible, carne asada tasted wierd, almost like the beef was going bad?! No flavor, everyone was adding salt to their food. Everyone left hungry as the food was pretty awful and mostly unedible and thrown away. Hot coffee…served in thin plastic cups!..that’s insane.

First time comes here, only came here because the plaza was closed on Sundays.
The cashier was very friendly. She ring up what I was wanting.
It would have been nice to been told that my beef enchiladas came with rice . I wouldn’t have ordered the fries.
Food was ok. But nothing grabbing to make me want to return again. No sweet tea unfortunately. Mostly just bottle soda except for 3 drinks.
I can see why this place gets reviews is 50/50
No AC it was very unpleasant being inside due it. No idea if it is temporary or them not having enough money to fix it.
I probably will not be returning to this place next time. I feel like I just wasted my money here.
