It’s spotlessly clean, modern and cute, family owned, open late, and beautiful area/location. It’s a mom and pop place right on the lake. The area is stunning and well kept. Free parking for the Korean food place. It’s like a quick and simple Korean fast food like menu and no need for waitress services so you can dine in or take out without fees. You can order at the kiosk or in person. No free WiFi. Charging stations all over and picnics tables and other tables. The seafood and vege pancakes (pajun) $8.99 was very good and crispy, the vege rolls $10.99 were simple with just avocado and cucumber and carrot plus rice and seaweed. The flavor was very bland but at least it was healthy. They ate a hard working team and they keep it very clean. Even the bathroom was very clean. No odors anywhere. It’s not really a BBQ place even if they have food that are BBQ meat that you don’t grill yourself. But they have just enough dishes to give you a quick easy meal that you don’t have to cook and clean for.

Tonight we dined at Korean BBQ on the Lake. While accommodations are modest, the menu offers a variety of dishes all prepared with the chef’s interpretation.
Ordering is done through kiosks, which worked well. We settled on Korean Chicken Wings, Korean Pancakes, and Beef Bulgogi. Once we paid (credit card only) we took note of our number and found seats.
When they call your number, pick-up is at the kitchen entrance where I first saw the food and took the trays back to our table.
The food came out not just hot, but “let’s just let it sit for a minute” hot. We both dove in, I took a meaty Chicken Wing and quickly set it down because it was that hot still. My better half started with the Beef Bulgogi which consists of thinly shaved ribeye seasoned, a serving of rice, and some fresh blanched vegetables. The wings I couldn’t get enough of, sweet Korean BBQ sauce on a very crispy skin all covering perfectly cooked moist chicken. We used the Korean Pancakes as a kinda wrap, loading the beef in them before rolling it up and finishing it all off.
Prices for all dishes are among the lowest in the area making this budget friendly restaurant a hidden bargain in the Northwest suburbs. The promenade is just steps away if you need a walk after lunch or dinner.
Overall Korean BBQ on the Lake receives 5 stars. It’s a spot everyone should try.

You have to try their bulgogi! Their tompoki is amazing as well! I’ve been here twice and they are on point everytime!!! You won’t be disappointing and will enjoy probably everything off their menu as I’ve had several at this point after visiting twice. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!!! You will get better flavor than the other Asian places in the area!!!

Loved the experience from this place! The food was phenomenal & service was high quality. Ended up getting the beef bulgogi, crispy tofu, & crispy crunch roll! So flavorful and yummy, highly recommend if you’re looking for a lowkey Korean BBQ place! Will be coming back for sure

Very clean and cute place. You order at the kiosk and pick up your food from the counter when it’s ready. The bulgogi was amazing! The ramen was decent. I ordered it mildly spicy but it was too much for me. They definitely started getting busier around 11:30 which was great though more for pick up than dine in.
