The place itself is very picturesque and cute. We went early morning on a Friday with reservations and felt our service was not great. There were only 2 other tables at that time and our server would disappear for long stretches of time. The food itself was mediocre and expensive. One of the dishes we ordered came with a side of toast and the toast we were brought had visible green mold. They apologized and comped the dish but it was gross thinking they did not notice that! Again, it’s a beautiful spot and they fixed their mistakes but we were not impressed and would not be back.

We spent our first ever Thanksgiving away from home in San Antonio to visit our daughter in military training. We had a party of 5 for Thanksgiving dinner and the Chef accomodated our gluten and dairy allergies (with advanced notice) for the pre-fixe four course menu. The food and service was outstanding. The restaurant and hotel were festively decorated. I am thankful for the team at this restaurant

It was a sweet surprise finding this gem after a Health and Wellness Expo spent in Travis Park as a vendor! Came famished and the place was elegant, we were served well and the staff was nice even when we felt we were not dressed appropriately! We had brunch and the food was delish. A pride in San Antonio! Recommended!

Had breakfast here during our stay at the hotel. Food was excellent and the ambiance was great. Not sure why it’s rated so poorly but we enjoyed our breakfasts. Coffee is excellent.

I love the atmosphere with the lo-fi background music that was low enough to allow conversation but subtle enough to notice the upbeat vibe. The decore was a nice mix of historical classic 1920s with modern touches of green velvet, warm gold accents, and floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light. I was there for lunch, so the menu was small, which helped me with decisions, but still included healthy options. I don’t know why other reviews say the service was poor. In my experience, Derik was my server, and he was excellent! He was patient with me, let me stay and relax as long as I wanted. He was attentive and even a bit sociable, yet taking note of when I needed space. The menu is a bit on the pricier side, but this should be expected in a 4-star upscale hotel. You’re paying mostly for the ambiance and the service, which I felt was unique and memorable. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice romantic dinner.

Kind and customer-service oriented staff. Rise and Shine and eggs benedict were fresh and flavorful. Appreciated the gluten free bread option. Bloody Mary was good and peppery and willingly adjusted the spice on request. The renovation is beautiful!

This was a five star breakfast as far as I’m concerned. Great service, it came out fast, good full plate of food. I think they switched the staff or something since the past reviews.

Wanted late breakfast options on a Saturday and we came here. The service was fast and friendly and came back often to check on coffee and to see if food was good or if we needed anything. We both had the rise and shine and our eggs were prepared perfectly, over medium and scrambled with cheese. If you get a meal with an option for bread, absolutely get their scratch made biscuits!! I had mine with whipped butter and honey and might be the best biscuit I’ve had!! Prices were also very reasonable considering located in St. Anthony’s hotel. Each meal was $18 and coffee was $4!!!!

Cozy little hotel restaurant, great views of the park, and really decent food for being located in the hotel. The wait staff was great and it’s a really cute experience to eat and watch the park.
