The pistachio muffin here was absolutely to die for, and the macaroons weren’t bad either. The veggie sandwich was nice and fresh, and the view over the road was nice. Overall, it was a great little lunch spot. Food came out quickly, and the server was friendly. It was nice shopping downstairs at the store after lunch too.

The Margarita Flatbread was delicious. Very soft bread that tastes like it just came out of the oven, versus a normal firm and crunchy pizza crust. The Tangerine tea was a nice complement to the flatbread. The County Seat has a great view of the Courthouse Square here in downtown Prescott. Between the cashiers & waitresses I’ve met here, they are always friendly and helpful with the menu.

This gem of a restaurant is on the second floor of a Knick Knack store in downtown Prescott. (I am posting a separate review of that.)
Modern decor, love the lights. Food was phenomenal. I ordered the pesto tuna sandwich w/o the tuna, and asked for it closed-face on sourdough instead of open face. Slight technicality though, the lady didn’t tell us that the sourdough cost a buck more AND … when she offered us “chips or salad?” for the side, she didn’t tell us that those options were NOT included – chips cost us 3 bucks for about 1 oz.
Other than those issues, our experience was great! I LOVE pesto and the sandwich knocked it out of the park. Five stars for that!!
Here’s some feedback from the guests in our party:

“The atmosphere was very crisp and clean, and inviting. The kind of place you’d want to sit down by the window with a coffee and contemplate the meaning of life.” – The Deep Thinker

“Welcoming atmosphere.” – The Minimalist

“The windows highlighted the sun-kissed vines outside and beckoned patrons to savor their delights just a little bit longer.” – L’Artist

“Excellent, clean food. Pricey.” – The Tough Critic

“I mean, I love that place. I think it’s good.” – The Gen Z’er

Thank you so much Josh & Gracie for a fantastic dinner and experience tonight. My husband and I were on a budget but desperately needed a date night. We ordered from the Happy Hour menu and it was excellent!!! We paid $40 for 4 sharables that were the perfect portion, an espresso martini and this included the tip. We couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was fresh, delicious and more than we expected. Thank you so much County Seat. We are 35 year Prescott locals, I’m so grateful we have you here. XO

Just watch tik tok and you’ll see that The County Seat is one of the most popular spots for breakfast or lunch in Prescott. It’s hot open space, bright lighting, and good food of the heart of town.

It’s on the second floor above Spice Traveler. Enjoy some shopping and then head upstairs, or elevator, to enjoy a bite and a cocktail at The County Seat. They’ve got sandwiches, salads, and breakfast options.

Afterwards, head down to the basement for a Mead tasting at Superstition Meadery

This little hideaway was great place to take my 16yr old granddaughter. It was raining and had a lovely aerial view of the courthouse. They had several board games and cards for us to enjoy while waiting for the rain to lighten up. The ambiance and service was superb. Thanks!!

My husband and I both ordered the chilequiles. It was $12 for chips with an egg topper. The coffee was very tasty. The view of the square can’t be beat. I will be back, but to enjoy drinks and the view. The vibes are really amazing. Unfortunately the tables weren’t wiped and our meal came with a fork. I had to ask for a knife and for extra napkins. I like that you pay before you sit down and that water is self serve. Service was really great and our food came out fast.

Came here with my husband on Saturday and was initially excited it’s a nice looking spot. Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. It felt more like a serve yourself setup, even though we paid full restaurant prices. There was little to no guidance or service, and you’re expected to just “know how it works.”

My mimosa was warm and honestly just bad. I ordered a flatbread, but what I got was closer to a pizza tons of crust and way too much bacon. My husband’s sandwich wasn’t much better. On top of that, we had to walk up to the bar to get our own water in a plastic cup?

If you’re okay paying restaurant prices for minimal service , this might be your place. But personally, I think the staff could use more training in customer service and ID’ing customers. It really makes or breaks the experience. I’m pretty young and wasn’t ID’d for my alcohol.

First time checking out The County Seat, what a beautiful place. So bright and airy with the big windows in the front of the restaurant. It overlooks Prescott square with all the Christmas lights so you can see all the Christmas decorations. Didn’t try the food. Just did cocktails which were great…Light and refreshing. My husband and I were happy we finally found a place in Prescott that did a true espresso martini.

The food was creative and flavorful. You order at the counter. The food came out quickly and at the proper temperature. I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere only because it’s a casual dining experience. The tables are well spaced out so you are bumping elbows or chairs with the other diners. Sit by the window and overlook the courthouse plaza.

Will definitely be returning and adding to our breakfast rotation.
