Man. I worked at a place like this that had thee best brisket. They are still #1. This place solid #2. Definitely not a bad thing. The place I worked, their brisket has the best flavor. This place. Idk. Sounds weird but working in a barbecue restaurant for years knowing what to look for, the brisket here just tastes so clean. Doesn’t taste like artificial b.s. or desperately over seasoned. I can’t explain it. Very pure taste. Sausage normally makes me sick with cramps. Not this sausage. The macaroni was freaking amazing as well. A lot of places have really disappointing mac n cheese. I’m really picky with my barbecue sauce. This barbecue sauce is definitely a top contender. Definitely 5 stars across the board for me. Small toppings bar does it’s thing too. The employees were very nice. Can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend. Makes me a little sad that I can’t stay an extra day and that you guys open after I leave. Now I’ll have to use you guys as an excuse to come here.

This is my favorite barbeque place. The meat is always so fresh and the service is outstanding.
I have noticed the management here goes above the standard when it comes to the employee training and standards. The employees seem to actually respect the manager, and he has definitely earned mine. As well as the all of the employees under him.
I consider myself very lucky to have this establishment so close to home.

This place was a stop on our way to Dallas. We had been wanting some good bbq and we finally found it. The food was so good, tender, and bursting with flavor. The restaurant was clean and kept up nicely. The customer service was excellent and with a smile! And the price was reasonable! Give them a try!

Today I bought 3 plates with brisket and ribs. Brisket is fresh and tender but ribs are overcooked and dry! Guys, when you have leftovers or not fresh enough meat, please, don’t put it for the customers! We pay too much,and we should get the best meat that you have!

I have seen soulmans BBQ around so I decided to try it out today. I ordered a 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs for the meat and mac and cheese and okra for the sides. The brisket was awful. Minimal smoke ring and almost zero bark. It was dry and flavorless. The ribs were mediocre at best. They were tender and not too dry but lacked any kind of seasoning. As far as the sides, the okra was cold and chewy but the mac and cheese was on point. Over all, the portions were good but the food lacked any kind of care for quality.

I got a lot of food today. Baked potato was perfectly cooked. Brisket was tender and moist. Chicken was juicy. Ribs were meaty. Fried cabbage was great. Everything was good. Great customer service too. Definitely will be back.

1st time here and let me tell you, this was some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had! The brisket was moist and melted in my mouth! The sausage was extremely flavorful and the sides were delicious. Plus the free ice cream at the end was a pleasant way to finish off the meal.

Ordered a meal online for pickup. Food was ready when I picked it up. Got home realized I didn’t get the drinks I ordered. Called and told the girl who answered and she said just come back and get them. Sorry but not making a 45 minute round trip just for drinks. Just put the cost of drinks back on my card. Nobody here can do that. Just call back tomorrow.

Upon walking in we were greeted by a gentlemen who was very friendly, polite and a jokester! Everyone else had such high spirit and a great smile on their faces. The food was very good and well worth the price you pay. Not to mention, there is free ice cream! highly recommend this spot as a BBQ location you should visit.

The pinto beans could use a little flavor that’s why we gave them a 4 for the food. It would probably be better if they did BBQ beans.
