Owner and staff are very friendly. I tried a few different hotdogs here. Theres a nice size menu with burgers and cheese steak and fries and more. The place is very very clean. I tried the chili dog with mustard and onions, it was good, but i think the specialty dogs here are much better. The cuban dog was great, but my favorites were the mexican dog and the southern dog was at the top of my list! The southern dog has smoked pulled pork and i have to say, that may have been the absolute best pulled pork i have even eaten, very deep smoke flavor and the owner explained that he drives hours to meet with a guy just to get the hickory wood to smoke his meat with. Well worth his time and effort to achieve flavor like that. Also, everything is cooked in a large air fryer so nothing is dripping with oil which is a plus. The dogs had a nice crispy snap when i bit into them and the toppings were stacked nicely. I will definitely be back to try some other menu items soon.

Wayne and John gave amazing service and are two nice gentlemen. The food was delicious as well. We ordered a hotdog and a burger and they were goooooood. You can tell Wayne put love into his food. I recommend you try it out nice comfort food and the view in the back is serene!

Awesome place with quirky decor, located right on the part of the Passaic River that reminds you it’s actually a pretty body of water in some parts of the state ( with a nice patio over looking ).
They serve air fried Hoffman dogs but have a menu with burgers and cheesesteaks as well. The owner is super passionate and loves to talk about the business.
Got the “All the Way Lover”, Chili, Onions, and Spicy Pepper Relish and it was amazing.
Great stop for hot dog or great food lovers.

Stopped by the new location today in Woodland Park. I ordered one hotdog with mustard and another chili sauce on top. These are not your ordinary hot dogs, Hoffman German Air Fried hot dogs. Defiantly a different taste but delicious. The chili was mild and fresh. The sauerkraut was fresh, as well as the hot dogs rolls.
There isn’t seating available inside but they had standing tables to eat against the wall.. They have outside small deck I am assuming that will open in the summer. Definitely worth a try…

Lover Dogs Woodland Park is a must-visit for hot dog lovers! Their creative and delicious hot dogs are seriously next level. The ingredients are fresh, and the service was amazing. Plus, the location is perfect for a quick bite while watching over the river. The view outside is wonderful to look at. Definitely coming back for more!

Hidden gem, wish I had found it sooner. I have been looking for a great Chili dog! Never had a Hoffman dog before but it had a great snap when I bit into it and Wayne said he worked with a chef on his Chili recipe. Definitely recommend the Chili dog and the Salchipapas. Beautiful few in the back as well!

The owner of this establishment is a sweet heart! He sold us on about four different hotdogs and two different french fries styles my friends and I enjoyed our time here for certain. The service was spectacular. The cashier Jonathan and Aritzi are amazing!! Definitely recommend air fried dogs!! The pizza freshhh ?!?! So perfectly crisp! I love it and recommend the pepperoni pizza, the Salchipapa Fries, Chili Cheese fries as well as the hot dog, & the southern lover hot dog.

Finally had the opportunity to check out Lover Dogs in Passaic this past week after hearing about it for so long. I grabbed an all the way (chili, onion, mustard) and my gf got the American dog (bacon and cheese sauce). We were lucky enough to meet the owner and get to talk with him for a bit. He was a really nice guy and offered us small samples of fries, pulled pork, and ice cream to try. They were all excellent but I definitely suggest trying that pulled pork if you go. True Smokey flavor and very juicy…and that was being unsauced.
I took a bite of my gf’s American dog and it was tasty. Air fried bacon, delicious Hofmann air fried dog, steamed bun, and the cheese sauce you either love or hate. I happen to have a guilty pleasure for it.
