Unique treasure in a hidden bay along the back roads of Maui. The owner is a nice elderly local who has an incredible story. We went here to adventure and support local. It’s not high end, but simple and rural which we enjoy. Not recommended for people who get car sick as the roads are windy. Great for people who like adventure!

The place itself looked super cute and had an amazing view, so of course we decided to stop and try the shaved ice. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
When the lady handed me the shaved ice, she accidentally dropped it inside her tent. Instead of simply remaking it, she became upset and we had to wait about 10 minutes while she cleaned it up. We had already paid and patiently waited.
She then insisted that we pay extra, claiming that we caused her to drop the ice and even blamed us for damaging photos hanging inside her cabin. We were honestly confused, as we had done nothing wrong. We just wanted the shaved ice we paid for so we could continue our trip, but she became irritated when we refused to pay more.
After some discussion, she eventually gave us the new shaved ice. The ice itself was fine, but the interaction left a very sour taste and unfortunately overshadowed what could have been a lovely stop with a beautiful view.

After exploring the accidental drive on the north side of the island, this was cute surprise. My husband and I are still talking about the Mango bread. Warm it up in the microwave and spread some butter and we absolutely raved about this our entire trip….still dreaming about that Mango bread!!

After a long harrowing trip counterclockwise up the mountain. My wife and I stopped here to turn around and stop for a bite. Ululani was completely horrible and lacking of any apparent human decency or empathy as my wife was visibly shaken from the perilous rode. She was completely rude and had 0 customer service skills. Our mere presence seemed to extremely bother her because we were tourists and there was no other point to turn around without risking your life and potentially dying for miles to come. Leave this woman and her driveway and her Hopefully soon to failed business venture alone as she clearly doesn’t want customers.
