On the evening of July 14, 2025, I went to Subway in Downtown Florence on North Court St for my elderly aunt. I try to order her particular sandwich online but it wasn’t showing up. I called Subway and have mentioned about the issues I was having online and requested to place it over the phone. The employee told me that I couldn’t place the order online and that it was against franchise policies. So I have arrived 5 minutes after the phone call to place my order in person. So I started with the Dorritos footlong, she begin adding the fixings before placing it inside the warmer. When she removed it from the warmer the Dorritos footlong was totally ruined from her burning it. You could literally see the chips have blackened and the burnt smell filled the air throughout the store. I said that I don’t want the burnt food. She surprisingly admitted that, “It’s only burnt on one side.” She proceeded not to make another Dorrito footlong and went to the next sandwich. So I’m looking at that first order which I am not going to purchase at all. I told her that I wanted a footlong on flatbread. I do have a coupon for the footlong and 6″ sub. She tells me that I cannot use coupons on flatbread. I tell her that I use coupons all the time at that location and other locations. It doesn’t even exclude flatbread on any of the coupons. So I told her that I will only purchase the 6″ sub. So she had the nerve to say something about purchasing that burnt Dorritos footlong. I already told her and had to repeat myself that I wasn’t purchasing any burnt food. A desperate person wouldn’t eat any of it. So she was fuming when she couldn’t make me purchase burnt food. She claims to be the manager of that store. Next thing she said to me that I need to ” go somewhere else.” I replied,”Fine. I will.”
So whoever this middle-aged woman wearing glasses that was working at this store around 4:30 PM should really seek a different employment because food service and interacting with customers is not for her. She was totally disrespectful. I had my aunt on the phone who heard the whole thing. Good luck.
Update: 7/29/25 at 3:30PM Corporate contacted me through email and said the issue has been resolved. I didn’t notice any details of the resolution with the email. So I replied to the email and requested for details. It’s important as a customer that I know the resolution was satisfactory.

First, when I first came to this subway location, the worker was rude to me because we had a miscommunication about the sandwich. And refused to change it and walked away. Then, another subway worker came to help me, but I brushed it off because maybe she had a bad day. I came again today and made an online order because they had a deal, and they messed up my sandwich. It looked like a bomb on my sandwich because the quantity was significant. It was so big that it ripped my sandwich. After all, they put too many items on it, so it was unbearable to hold my sandwich. Overall, there was terrible customer service, and the food was not worth it. I would go to another location.

My 6 inch turkey sub had far less meat than I have received at other locations. The lettuce was dark as well. It’s been two months. I hope things improve, the local is convenient ☺️

I walked in to get a sandwich but there was a line. I decided to use the restroom while the line went down. Door was locked, I asked the employees there if someone was in there or if I need a key. The young woman there belts at me, “restrooms are for customers only” with the snarkiest attitude you could imagine. I explained to her I was planning to buy a sandwich but I just need to use the restroom first. She huffed and puffed and got the key unlocked the door and walked off with such an attitude you would have thought I offended her by wanting to use the restroom. While I was in there her attitude got to me and it turned me away from buying from her. I told her on the way out I’m sorry but your attitude has turned me away from wanting to eat here. (I was worried she would taint my food.) She chases after me to the door yelling at me to get out or she’s calling the police. All I could do is laugh in disbelief. I just wanted to use the restroom to wash up and relieve myself before I got a sandwich. What is her problem. I told the lady I’d let her manager know of how she mistreated me, the man behind the counter too. They both seem like they hate their jobs. She said she was the manager. I’ve been visiting that subway for the 15 years I’ve been in Florence I was a customer regardless if I paid for a sandwich yet. I’ll never be back as long as that person is the manager. That place needs revamped.

Went in with an individual I work with. The employees that were there were so patient & kind while we were placing our order. They were phenomenal! We took a lot of time but not once did they show any frustration or anything but pleasant helpfulness. They spoke to the individual as if they were the same as we were & made us feel so welcomed. I have never had such a positive experience in these situations as this one. I wish I knew the names of the employees but I don’t. I can tell you this visit was around 11am 7/31/21. They deserve recognition.

Service was great, employees were very friendly. I went in with coupons to use for my coworker and I. The employee told me the owner does not accept coupons. I sort of get that in today’s economy but may use another location going forward. Otherwise, my experience was good here.

Absolutely horrible experience. The girl with the frosted hair was rude and unaccommodating. Ordered a sub and there is literally more cheese than meet on a $9 sub. Will never return. After I paid, a guy who heard the conversation said he always has issues here too. If I could rate it negative stars I would. Will be calling corporate and addressing this with them. Experience was that bad.
