We visit Hinckley sometimes, so decided to check Bogey’s out on a Fri evening about 6:30. When we arrived, a group of 4 we already waiting, unsure if they should seat themselves or if someone would show them to a table. It was a small room with a handful of tables. There were 2 open tables for two & 4 stools were available at the small bar. The group before us asked the woman behind the bar if it was seat yourself & if they should go into the other room (apparently there is another dining area that I never viewed). She told them it was full in there & then walked away. Both groups sat for about 10 minutes. Although the bartender came in & out of the back several times, she continued to ignore us– no offer of drinks or menus or even an acknowledgement of any sort. My group left at that point. Hopefully the other party wound up being more successful than we were but I’m not holding my breath. The place was cutely decorated with golf memorabilia (hence the name Bogey’s). I have a hunch the lack of customer service is not uncommon there, so I’m impressed the place has lasted as long as it has.

If I could have given the atmosphere and service a 0, I would have! My family of four walked in and were treated like shit. The pizza was good, the burgers were terrible. The server was the rudest person I met in my life and basically screamed no tip. We never got refills on our drinks which were empty before our food got to table. We asked for pull tabs from the jar and she said not now, when the bar wasn’t terribly busy and never came back to ask if we still wanted some. We ordered an appetizer and never got it, also wasn’t charged for it for a positive. We were new and never felt welcome as a small place should! I get it your local traffic makes the place, but also new people recommend a place. Ten out of ten don’t recommend!

The new owner is very pleasant but has no clue what he is doing. NONE whatsoever.

Ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. Sandwich was a frozen breaded chicken patty on a toasted bun.
No lettuce, tomatoes or onions available.
There is no hard liquor here. Just some random tap beer. And warm-ish pop in a can.
Took 35min to warm up a patty. No silverware. No napkins.
I sure hope this nice gentleman gets his stuff together and succeeds. Guessing the state BS isn’t making anything easier right now either their bogus mandates.

A chill place, I was impressed with the food. I had the cheesesteak and sweet potato fries. The fries were the best I’ve ever had and the cheesesteak was amazing as well. Came out hot and cooked fresh. If you want a good bite to eat, this place will not disappoint.

Looking for a great lunch in Hinckley, MN and want to skip the crowds? Stop by Bogey’s on Main in downtown. Super little bar with great food! Service was great, music was playing and it is a great atmosphere. We ordered the chicken and veggies potstickers which are deep fried and amazing. Also ordered something called “Tater Kegs”. These little gems are a tator tot filed with sour cream, chives, bacon…its like a loaded baked potato in tot form. Super good. Also ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Its a perfect, greasey burger just how you like em. I would definitely return here for lunch. Check it out. Do something different. Thanks to Bogey’s. Great experience.

Food was good enough, which is the only reason for 2 stars. Cheese curds were not the business. Service was HORRIBLE…totally not expected for small town Minnesota! Server dang near slammed down the caddy with napkins in it, simply because we asked for napkins and the caddy that was on our table was empty. She didn’t greet us or thank us. Sadly disappointed.
