My recent visit to this teriyaki spot was absolutely outstanding. First, the salad surprised me with its super creamy, delicious dressing that was perfectly coated on crisp greens. Equally impressive was the rice, which had a uniquely rich and creamy texture that complemented every bite. The star, the teriyaki chicken, was amazing—tender, generously glazed, and packed with flavor. Each component of the plate worked together in harmony for a fantastic meal. Beyond the food, I was pleased to find the restaurant itself was very clean and well-kept. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the comfortable atmosphere. This is clearly a place that cares about both quality and the customer experience. I will absolutely be returning very soon. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this teriyaki place for a satisfying and tasty meal.

I am a teriyaki connoisseur and this is by far my favorite spot. I lived down the road from this place and now live far away but visit everytime I am near. MR jay is very nice definitely worth visiting whenever you’re around the area.

This place has the BEST Spicy Chicken Katsu, it’s nothing like you get anywhere else.
The fried rice is cooked perfectly and everything tasted delicious!
Food is consistent, they also cut the corners of your to-go containers to proper vent fried food so it doesn’t get soggy but still keeps your food warm.
Looking forward to trying more entrees.

Great quality ingredients. Very fast service. A bit pricey ( but what isn’t after Covid?) but well worth it! Good portions. The dressing for the salad is to die for. The beef teriyaki is SO flavorful. Perfect sticky rice. Very kind friendly hostess.so happy and eager to grab you sauce whatever you need!

I will say that Tokyo Town “use* to be good…. The son running the front and family in back cooking. They definitely sold the place to another family or business people. The Mac salad is definitely not what it used to be and honestly the food in general is just “ok” now. The family and I used to go out of the way to come here… However, I think that time has changed and will be moving on to something closer and hopefully better. I got the almond chicken and it was the oddest meal I have ever had. It just wasn’t good. The people who had the chicken teriyaki said it had changed and was just alright. It’s truly sad it has changed so much and a shame that I’ll be finding somewhere else to order from

Very good teriyaki food. Their macaroni salad taste better than any macaroni salad you will eat anywhere. Their lunch size is very big, and meat is very tender. Been coming here for 10+ years

Do not buy food at this restaurant if you are African-American, I spoke to the woman in a very friendly way. She had no response for me and she very rudely handed me my food. A few minutes later a white woman walked in and said hello and she was very, very nice to her and respectful. I don’t understand what the difference between the two of us was other than skin color if you are not white, I guess you are not treated with the same level of respect.

It change ownership a few years back and it hasn’t been the same consistency with the taste of the food like it was before the ownership change. I used to brag about Tokyo Town and suggest it to out of town visitors.
