For I-95 travellers for lunch or snack stop, take the extra five minutes from the off-ramp to drive right into the village of St. George and treat yourself to some fresh and delicious home baking or a lunch made fresh for you. I opted for a waffle cone with two kinds of ice cream and some kind of chewy wonderfulness that was similar to a blondie. But way better! I think it was called a “Chewie”. Two lovely young ladies provided service with a smile. Thanks to Google and previous reviewers for posting that ice cream pic!!

We stopped at this very homey cafe on the way to Florida for a short birthday trip. While we had our eyes set on breakfast, we hit here late enough in the morning to qualify for lunch. Lucky us. My wife had the Southside Roast Beef. Nice mix of flavors with a little bite on the back end. I had 2 Hot Dogs with actual homemade chili. Scratch made, not out of a tub. We both had the potato salad as a side. There’s a large selection of Hershey’s dip ice cream, as well as a huge offering of deserts. Limited seating adds to the charm. Ample parking. Shane and his crew provide a friendly environment to enjoy a meal. We had a nice conversation with him while waiting for the monsoon to pass. Well worth the short drive off of I-95. Give them a try!

If you’re looking for fancy… this isn’t it. If you’re looking for the BEST breakfast ever… this is it.
This little hole-in-the-wall spot absolutely blew me away. The food was fresh, hot, and clearly made with love. Don’t forget to add a biscuit to your order…..fluffy clouds of heaven.
The service was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel like regulars even on our first visit. Sometimes the smallest places serve the biggest flavors — and this one is a hidden gem.

If you’re looking for a break from fast food, this charming diner is worth the detour! The food is excellent for the price—my BBQ pork sandwich was perfectly smoky, and my wife’s Reuben was loaded with flavor. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the outstanding service. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere adds to the experience, making it a perfect stop for a relaxed, quality meal. Oh, and don’t forget to treat yourself to their ice cream—you won’t regret it! Highly recommended.

This place is such a gem. I love the local owned and friendly type of vibe, the owner Shawn was so sweet, he came out and introduced himself and offered my dog a pup cup (they instantly became friends).
We came here passing through the town on our way to NC for thanksgiving and it was such a cute, quaint place. The staff is really sweet and friendly, food was delicious and made fresh and reasonably priced. Despite it being busy the food came out quick and the owner still made time to come outside and introduce himself. The service was so hospitable, it felt like you were being taken care of by a family member or close friend.
I got the BLT and my partner got the turkey club, we were happy campers with the whole experience. We will be stopping by again on our next time through! What a great little spot!

Stop in real quick for a bite to eat on our way to Savannah. Best decision EVER! Their sandwiches are old fashioned goodness, there are no words to how good the BLT and Turkey Club were! Don’t forget to try their brownies. Huge and pure chocolate heaven without being too gooey nor cakey. Wish I could give more stars because the ladies working here are absolutely fabulous, just the nicest, sweetest people!

Stopped for lunch as it had great reviews. Sandwiches were OK, reuben needed some more seasoning. Banana pudding was fake banana flavored and lacked actual bananas? Seems a cardinal sin in the South. Cute place with friendly staff. Decor was fun!

I visit the location at the Public Service building. Everyone is always so kind. Service is phenomenal. They bring that old school feel of getting to know your local diner. Ms. Sherrie is so kind! I am so grateful that this business exists. Prices are better here than anywhere else for fast food.
They made my hash brown perfectly crispy & perfectly soft on the inside. I didn’t even ask them too & it’s glorious!
