First time at Bar Margaret. The aesthetic of the place is super cute and artsy. Love the vibe. The staff was very friendly. The drinks are strong, very liquor forward, and very odd, but in a good way. For example, their old fashion is made with tequila. They also have absinthe here, which is unique. There were some drinks I had I didn’t love, and some that were very good. My favorite were the amaretto sour and the lemon drop martini. The food was delicious. Their burgers are very good and so was their Korean chicken bites appetizer and their truffle fries. I will say their “lil piggies” aka pigs in a blanket was very small and not filling so this would be good if you’re not hungry but just want something to nibble on. Overall I would say this place is worth the trip and you’ll know if the vibe is for you or not. It’s definitely artsy / niche and is a unique concept. I liked it and will be back! Thanks for the awesome service!

Love the experience here today food was amazing. Service was wonderful food was amazing. Stacked onion rings were delicious. The wrap perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back. Can’t recommend this place enough. Clean the art is amazing. Not to mention the drink list has so many choices.

I was really excited to try this place because of all the wonderful reviews, but my experience didn’t measure up. The truffle fries were very tasty and the server did give me a heads up on what size to order. I also got the hippie burger and the first two bites were good, but I guess all the toppings were stacked there bc the rest of it was very plain. I was really excited for that burger too bc I looove falafel.
The dining room was really cool with lots of art and I really enjoyed that. The service was okay; I asked for no onions, but got them anyway and a drink was almost forgotten about before we reminded the server.
I wish I had a different experience bc it does seem like lots of people really like this place.

Bar Margaret is a charming, artsy spot tucked away in the West End of Greenville—perfect for a cozy night out or catching up with friends. While they’re best known for their creative cocktails, I opted for the “An Even Gooder Burger” and truffled fries.
The burger was a bit too salty for my taste, but the fries hit the spot. I love the vibe and location enough to give it another try soon!

My girlfriend and I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is phenomenal, and the servers and owner are always incredibly friendly. We’ve never been disappointed, even after many visits. On our very first visit, the owner Chris welcomed us with complimentary cookies, which really set the tone for the kind of place this is. We find ourselves coming back almost every weekend because it’s hard to find another spot this consistently good. Thank you all for the great service and positive attitudes, it truly makes a difference.

Bar Margaret’s menu is simple yet it is one of the best places to eat. The burgers are wonderful, and the buffalo shrimp is amazing. The staff is always very nice. The only thing I could complain about is the sodas, I’m a Diet Coke girl. I always tell people about the burgers here. 10/10 everytime.

This place is amazing. I have never been to a restaurant that makes meals that are equally amazing for meat and non meat eaters. A good place if you want to meet with friends for dinner and drinks or if you just want a little down time to yourself. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the paintings and drawings are beautifully positioned. Food pricing is perfect. This is my new relax and dine location!
