The worst tasting food our family has ever had! Spent $70 for 2 cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, Mac and cheese french fries personal pan pizza and a Pepsi and pink lemonade. The Mac and cheese was good I’d rate it 4 out of 5. However the burger meat was worse then school food the tomato was horrible dried and hard the sandwiches must have been sitting there since the opening. The chicken tenders were cold and hard. The pizza was flimsy cold all out nasty worst pizza I’ve ever had. The fries were soggy. When asked if we could get something different we were told that is what was made. Made our entire experience horrible as I was constantly hungry the whole day and not feeling good after eating that food. Or I should say eating tiny bits of that food as we had to throw out most of the order.

Pretty good cafeteria food. Bun was cold, meat was cold, fries were fresh. Hamburger tasted pretty good. Bun was not toasted. Lots of tables.
One huge negative about this place though… this year for no apparent reason, they have roped off and fenced off all entrances and exits so that the only way inside is if you walk a quarter mile to the end of all the lodges… or you can sneak in through the maze of isles in the ski shop to get into the secret lodge entrance.

Big Pocono is a place where you have to push a tray and serve yourself with food prepared en gros from shelves, looks like a cheap Canteen for a Factory/School from a developing Country. And the SHOCK COMES!
I never thought in my entire life that I would spend $83 at a Cafeteria for 1 Cheeseburger, 2 Chicken Fingers, 1 Chili and 1 nasty soup(which we didn’t even eat) It is INSANE … 15$ for a cheap mini sub-standard, hideous measly cheeseburger (worth maybe 3$ in reality). I didn’t want to pay but we were very hungry and didn’t want to waste too much time going back and forth. They boys from the counter were nice though …

It was just a cold bun and a cold tasteless patty inside!!?? I didn’t realize until I bought the food to my table and opened the container. Definitely the worst food I ever bought! Outrageously expensive for the horrible food and the cluttered, unclean tables/seating. I was charged double the amount I expected – 2 days later (there is no way to confirm the charges on the spot). And there is no way to see the receipt.

Took a lunch break here after skiing for a bit, I would have rather gone hungry. It’s probably the worst burger I have ever had, but fries were decent. Price, was kinda outrageous $100 for 4 burgers 2 fires and 4 drinks I mean it was $25 a person for worse that fast food items.

The hamburgers tasted like sawdust I just can’t believe you can remove that much moisture from a burger. School cafeteria lunches are better than this, please people you need to reevaluate your food. Unfortunately, as a skier, you’re trapped if you’re hungry. There just isn’t enough ketchup or condiments to make this good.can I get a refund- it went in the trash.

No surprise it has so bad reviews. It actually damaged the whole resort experience. My credit card wasn’t signed, so the cashier (Michaela) snatched the food from the 2 year old baby and the 9 yo kid, and throw it away without any further discussion, later, when asked to call the manager, she called her fellow cashier, and pretended he was the manager, since he clearly didn’t looked like the manager, I came later on, and found the actual manager, who didn’t do anything. Such lack of training, damaging the image of the resort.

My experience was pretty great! I 100% recommend trying the Mac n cheese. ITS SO GOOOD. Plus, all of the employees are nice and helpful. I would definitely go back again!!!
