From the very beginning, the Flavor Cupcakery & Bake Shop team was incredibly kind, accommodating, and easy to work with while I coordinated a custom order for a surprise engagement dinner. Becca was my main point of contact and made sure communication was clear and consistent throughout the process. The team truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly right, from the flavors to the design details, which they had creative freedom with.
The cupcakes were absolutely perfect. They were beautifully decorated with a proposal theme and tasted just as amazing as they looked. One of the flavors was a personal favorite of my fiancée’s, and the team was more than willing to make an exception to include it even though it wasn’t part of the rotating menu, which meant a lot to us. They even made a mini version since it’s specifically my fiancée’s favorite. The variety of flavors was a big hit with our guests, and we received countless compliments throughout the night. Some of the flavors included cannoli, butter pecan cheesecake, apple cider donut, salted toffee crunch, along with a few of their classic options.
Pickup was seamless and stress-free, which was incredibly helpful on such a big day. It was clear that the team genuinely cared about being part of such a meaningful moment in our lives, and that level of thoughtfulness really stood out. Their pricing was affordable and absolutely worth the quality of product they created.
Flavor Cupcakery helped make one of the most important nights of my fiancée’s and my life even more special. Had to check this place out because my husband and I got a lot of recommendations from friends and family. We loved that they have pupcakes for dogs. Our dog Fletcher loved his pupcake ❤️ we also got cookies n cream and wedding cake cupcakes, and they were delicious. I love the icing, and the cake wasn’t dry. Staff is very friendly too. Will definitely return to try more flavors.

Absolutely delicious! My neighbor brought me a variety of their miniature cupcakes. These were delightful to experience and had the perfect ratio of icing for bite-sized cupcakes. It was a small struggle, but I could fit these in my mouth and devour them in a single savory bite.

Hi all! I have a friend who is getting married and myself (the maid of honor) and a friend (matron of honor) recently threw a bridal shower. Between myself and the matron of honor, we bought a lemon flavored cake, vanilla and red velvet cupcakes and vanilla and red velvet cake pops from Flavor. If you’re thinking about ordering from them, I would definitely give all the recommendations that I can give to this company! The cost may be a little pricey, but in all honesty – you definitely get what you pay for! I would pay whatever I needed to order from them again! All three items were beautifully decorated AND tasted AMAZING!!! If you’re throwing any kind of event and need any desserts at all – I can’t sing enough praises about these guys! 10 out of 10 – definitely recommend!

Ordered red velvet cupcakes on New Year’s Eve & what a disappointment. Cake was dry & inedible. They should NOT be selling over-baked cupcakes—or worse yet, old ones. Quality is not there. I am sure they knew they had a bad batch but they decided to sell them anyway & put profits above quality. When you pay for gourmet cupcakes, you expect top-notch quality & this was not it. This had to be the worse cupcakes I’ve had at any place & I’ve had my pick from many well-known cupcake shops and bakeries! Won’t be returning.

I was disappointed by my latest pick up order. The customer service was amazing, and the girls working were very nice. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and have never had a bad experience until now. I bought cupcakes for my birthday, and when I tried the first one, the icing tasted incredibly bitter and like chemicals. It was a terrible experience especially since I always get these cupcakes (cookies and cream) and they are always good. I have one left, and hoping it doesn’t also have the bitter chemical icing.

Flavor Cupcakery was such a pleasure to work with when planning our big day! From taste testing cupcake flavors to designing our cake, Shelley and her team did an excellent job. We decided on five cupcake flavors (Black Bottom, Red Velvet, Snickerdoodle, Key Lie Pie, and Lemon Blueberry) and cake for us to cut. Leading up to the wedding, Shelley was in constant communication to ensure that she had all of the details in place (which we truly appreciated). When our wedding day arrived, the cupcakes and cake turned out beautifully and were absolutely delicious! All of our guests commented on how lovely the display was and how yummy the cupcakes were. We even had a few guests visit Flavor in the days following our wedding to buy more! We don’t have a single complaint and would recommend Flavor Cupcakery in a heartbeat!

I ordered a larger amount of cupcakes for a birthday event and let everyone pick their own flavors, it worked out well. I took these to a restaurant and there was no worrying about cutting a cake, asking the server for a whole bunch of extra things. Everyone loved their cupcake and it was a great idea. Flavor does have the best cupcakes in the Harford County area. I did take off one star because I personally love the coconut cupcake and I feel like I never am able to catch it since it’s a special flavor, I did ask when I placed this order if coconut would be available this week and of course it wasn’t, but they would make it for me if I placed a $500 order is what I was told. They need to do a better job of letting you know what cupcakes are available and when. Maybe some sort of sign up for your favorite flavors and then you get an alert when they have it that week.
