This was so good! We ordered fried rice and the spicy pork – the portions were HUGE! I had leftovers that my partner and I could eat for dinner and be full. It was so delicious, came with kimchi and pickled daikon. It was super fast, and the lady at the counter was polite.

Are they serious? Ordered jokbal, 98% of it were inedible pieces. There were literally two normal pieces, and the rest were throw aways. Ordered the medium for a friend, I’m embarrassed if they got what I received. Terrible start to a new business. Cannot recommend this place at all.

The same atmosphere as the last owners but the new owner is quite rude and impatient. We frequent HMart for our groceries as well as eating here for lunch or dinner. When Areum was built with the new management, the food has remained somewhat the same but the service – the main lady at the counter – has always lost patience at the slightest of inconveniences. Further, I had order tartare once at almost the same price of Hyeban and Koho but the quality was quite literally just barely thawed-frozen beef. The portions of the bimbambap are smaller than before with the prices even higher. Areum does NOT stand up to its previous management and it doesn’t help that they even got rid of the sushi bar as well.

If you like authentic Korean food come here. The price is a little high but, the portions and quality make up for it. I got the spicy squid and will definitely go back for it again. My only regret is you can’t enjoy a beer with your meal.

The place just starting off. Customer Service lacks English. Atmosphere is food grocery market. Not for fine dining with candle lights and a dedicated server, but for Korean steak tartar and common Korean dishes, it’s still good

The bimbimbap is delicious. The Japchae has no meat and is burnt black. Buy the japchae in HMart for $7.95 and you won’t regret it.

Food is mediocre at best. Service is horrendous. Ordered food and took more than 35 minutes and constant asking. Finally I gave up and asked for a refund which they hesitately gave me. Go to the LOTTE MART food court across the street. Much better food and variety.
