I actually had the worst experience of my life in a restaurant here. I’ve never been treated with such terrible service. I walked in and I asked if they took Apple Pay because I was in a rush and I was really hungry she said yes and then turned around and walked away and then I asked her do I sit wherever and see you said sure. It took her about five more minutes to come over to me with a menu there were three other tables that were getting their food in the restaurant. I ordered a small rare steak and brisket bowl of pho.
She brought me the bowl pictured below after 35 minutes of waiting and told me that that is rare steak and I don’t know how to eat because when they pour the hot soup over it it turns brown and I need to understand how the soup should be served. I showed her a picture of what my expectation was because rare steak means there should be pink. She told me again I don’t know how to eat and I don’t need to worry about paying and just leave.
I felt like I was being profiled and that she didn’t want to serve me because I was the only person of color in her restaurant. Another couple came in after I did was sat with Service and brought water right away. They receive their food before me even though they ordered five minutes after me. She also went to check on their waters and their drinks to see if there was anything extra they wanted or needed. I didn’t get a smile thank you a one moment any sort of service that explains why it took so long and why my steak was not rare.

The location of this restaurant is near my house so it is very convenient. I only order takeout. I gave 3 stars for service because sometimes it is very difficult to get in touch with them. You will have to keep calling. My last experience was last week and it was about 45 mins before closing. I kept calling and by the 5th call someone answered. I was told that they weren’t taking orders because the credit card machine was broken. I then asked if I can pay with cash and there was a pause before saying yes. When I arrived there was only one person in the restaurant. It was true that the credit card machine was broken but I have a feeling that they didn’t want to take anymore orders. This might’ve been a one time thing but just be cautious when calling in the hour before closing time.
This restaurant is in a strip mall, so it is pretty much a large room with tables. I just remember seeing a lot of white and some clutter. I would consider it to be fast casual dining and most people probably aren’t on dates.
I always order the same thing. The pork, shrimp and egg roll vermicelli. It is very good. The picture that I have posted is from my last experience. Usually there is more meat and onions, but nevertheless it was delicious. The pork can be a little salty but eating it with the noodles helps.
Overall, I think this restaurant is worth trying, especially if you are in the mood for Vietnamese food.

I did not have a good experience here today. When I got to the restaurant I came In and there were people eating and seated eating. I got to the counter and stated my request and was interrupted by a noo we’re closed. It was 11:40am. I shrugged and said aww man when will you guys be opened again and was rudely answered with an even louder statement if we’re closed while being escorted out of the door as if I were a bother. Two more customers entered as I reached for the door and I told them politely that the restaurant was closed. The lady ( or store manager) quickly said no you can come in and stayed that they two men had already placed there orders. I asked the two men if there orders were previously placed and they told me no. So I asked again why can’t I place my order as well she told me she was not taking to go orders then I asked if I could dine in and was met by a no. So while at the door I stated that I felt as though I had been facing some kind of discrimination. I proceeded to tell the clerk that I felt she was being prejudice towards me. The clerk then stated that she had me on camera and threatened me with a video of me not arguing with her but being bombarded out of the door and discriminated against.

Not that nice service. The woman try to show off how nice she is. The pho noodle is ok , but not that flavorful as other authentic Pho places. However the beans sprouts not good quality,they still send to customers.

My hubby (BM) and I (WF) dropped by this place for lunch because it’s around the corner from our house. I paused at some of the recent reviews about service toward POC but we gave it a try. We walked in and a patron seated near the door eating assured us we could sit wherever we liked, so we did.
We weren’t there long before the waitstaff appeared over my shoulder. She was prompt with our drinks and patient as we decided.
We got the Vietnamese egg rolls and they were fantastic and came out quickly. Good thing too bc I was hungry!
Chicken vermicelli was good and the proprietor noticed I’d not eaten the noodles. I explained I’m diabetic and she suggested to ask next time for them to make it without noodles.
My husband got beef and rice and he thought his beef was a little salty. I could agree about the chicken but I don’t mind a little extra salt.
We will definitely be back again and again to Pho HD. I can tell already it’s going to be a new favorite.

The food was delicious, i got the seafood pho with beef broth, and the dumpling and both were amazing. The young guy working at the counter was super sweet and talked with us while we were waiting for our food! Will definitely be returning 🙂

The owner of this restaurant works super hard to keep its integrity. She cooks everything herself and most times while taking orders and refilling drinks. She keeps this place clean and values cleanliness. Her food tastes clean. Her seafood is FRESH. Why? Because she sometimes catches some of it herself on the boat her and her husband own. I saw a review about the brisket pho. If anyone has ever had RARE brisket pho, it is thrown in the pho RARE, and the broth cooks it so when it comes to your table it is cooked. I’m not sure what the poster who one starred this place expected or if she had ever had rare brisket pho before. Also I eat here a lot and have seen the owner of this facility be racially profiled and mistreated time and time again. I have not however witnessed her mistreat others.
