We arrived around 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday. We were perfectly settled in between the brush of the early morning and the rush of the late morning.
We were sat immediately and we were approached immediately by a friendly fellow.
Were we had the all day breakfast menu as that’s what we were looking for.
The pictures show the sausage and gravy, the breakfast combo with pancakes while I was mid-buttering, eggs over easy with sausage and bacon and home fries, and the fresh fruit cup. We also had a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel and home fries to go for our daughter.
All the food was asked to be expected. Well prepared. All delicious. As to be expected, you need to salt and pepper to your desired tastes, but conversely, if low salt and peppers what you’re looking for, that’s where the starting point is. A lot of older folks like that so this is perfect diner food.
We had the orange juice. It was standard tasty orange juice.
They have some daily/ seasonal options. My recommendation is to look at the chalkboard when you walk in.
They also have a variety of muffins and other baked goods at the counter. Make sure to check that out as you walk in. There’s seating at tables, a few booths and a counter that you can also sit at.
Plenty of space in the parking lot though, Word of caution, The spaces right in front of the restaurant are a little tight between the 873 and the restaurant so beware when backing up.
Overall, we really enjoyed our breakfast here today and we will be returning lunch and or dinner down the road.

This was the best place ever! Was looking for a restaurant nearby that didn’t close at 2 pm. Found this place 2 miles from where we were at and had the best turkey and chicken parm dinner ever. Waitresses were super nice and friendly and the meal was fabulous! Will definitely go again and the prices were so reasonable! Loved it!

Really thankful to Chris and Eli for accommodating our small dog at the last minute, it was a delightful experience with friends. The food was really good Mexican food, and the loaded French toast was superb – highly recommended. The only drawback was the size of tacos, the pieces were too small for regular portions and even though it tasted good it did not feel satisfying.

I am not much of a diner gal because they often can have really poor service and be not very clean.. let me tell you this place breaks the stereotype for me. The food was so fresh and better than most restaurants that are triple the price. The food had flavor, but not overly seasoned and perfectly cooked. There is not a speck of dirt or dust in the place. I am dumbfounded at how clean it is because on the outside I was worried when I pulled up. Don’t let that deter you. I could’ve eaten off of their toilet seat. The cleanest bathroom I’ve seen in a public establishment and even compared to most people’s homes! The lovely woman serving me always had a smile on her face a a kind demeanor, even at 6:15 am on a Sunday. Not an ounce of attitude or annoyance to be working. Hard to come by these days. This is my new spot. I highly suggest you cruise out here!

Passing by the town of Slatington, we decided to stop and grab breakfast. We sat at the breakfast bar. We got waited on very quickly. She was very nice. I ordered creamed chip beef. My Husband had a meat lovers omelet. The food came out quickly. It was hot and tasted good. They both came with home fries which were very good also. The proce was fair. The only thing I can say negative is that the bread was paper thin.

This is a fantastic little spot with superior service and great food. I can tell I’ve never seen banana and peanut butter on the menu, so that was a huge hit. My husband enjoyed his sausage and gravy and said the biscuit was so fresh it tasted homemade. We will make this restaurant a regular stop.
