This was arguably one of the best meals I had during my trip to Miami! Flor Z. was friendly and provided great service. The food was spectacular with the tenderest and most flavorful steak. The risotto I ordered was second to none, and overall, it is a small but intimate restaurant. The only thing I have to complain about was that the restaurant was abnormally warm, which made it a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, it would have been the perfect experience. However, I would definitely come again and I highly recommend it.

The staff is incredibly kind! I wanted to have an Aperol Spritz—in a wine bar, silly me—and the waiter said he’d take care of it. A few minutes later, I saw him coming back on a scooter with a sealed bottle of Aperol in his hand… truly a 5-star service! 🙂

This is definitely a hidden gem. Hidden from the crazyness of South Beach, this warm welcoming restaurant serves amazing plates of food. It’s very small so get there early. We loved the food and the ambiance.

Very cute spot serving great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Absolutely loved the beef empanadas they have here – fried is better than baked for sure. The risottos did take over an hour to get to our table so heads up that if there are a lot of parties, you may be waiting a very long time. They did compensate us with some free fries while we waited which was appreciated. The shrimp risotto was delicious, maybe slightly too much butter/oil as youll see in the photo but of all the places i tried in Miami beach, this is the only one id wholeheartedly recommend. Thanks cook up staff for a great meal!

We had a wonderful experience! Florencia, our server, was amazing—she understood us perfectly and made everything so easy. The food was outstanding, from the appetizers to the dessert, every dish was absolutely delicious. The presentation, the flavors, and the service were all top-notch. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

I’m just going to say it, I love this place! This is a gem in Middle Miami Beach. They have only been open for about 6 months. It’s fresh, clean, and modern. We had dinner here and had the beef empanadas for a starter. They’re probably the best I’ve had. Flavorful and crispy, served with a tomato chutney. Long story short, we came back the next day for lunch, just to have the empanadas again! They serve complimentary rolls with a tomato chutney, a fun combination. The ambiance is cozy and romantic. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I totally enjoyed my beef risotto. I got to sample the spinach ravioli with chicken, equally as enjoyable and fulfilling. Hats off to the kitchen. Tho i had to stick with water this night, they have plenty of wine options here. There is limited seating, quite a small restaurant. Do not pass this place by. Prices are well worth the quality here.

This place is a HIDDEN GEM! The bread, salads, appetizers and entrees were all phenomenal. We live two buildings away and have been meaning to try this place. It was so good we plan to come back weekly. The drink selection is also amazing. Very clean, friendly and quick service. Can’t say enough great things. Must try.

I was in Miami Beach in early March with a friend, and we casually found Cook Up through a Google search and what a great surprise! I ordered the risotto, and it was honestly the best risotto I’ve ever had. The beef was tender, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the whole dish was perfectly balanced.
The service was friendly, and the place had a cozy, welcoming vibe. I just wish they had a location in Virginia too! Highly recommend if you’re in Miami Beach!

(update 2025) One year later I come back and the experience is consistent, incredible. This time I had a risotto, it was INSANE! So good!!

The 4.9 rating is well deserved. The food is amazing, and the service is excellent — the lady who serves is incredibly efficient. The place is small but comfortable, with a great vibe. Make sure to book in advance.

Pretty value food price and good quality of food. Flor is soooo gooood and passionate. Comparing the first meal in Miami, Flor gives me the happy surprise. Good portion, good services and good food! She deserves the good rating as well as I told her. $38 for she 16oz steak and $12 more for the drink and fries includes taxes. I don’t get that good deal in California.
