This is a cute little quaint restaurant that has a good homestyle Louisiana atmosphere. The owner is very nice. He came out and introduced himself to us and made sure that we had a good dining experience. This is in a small town right off of Highway 70 and it’s a little hidden Jim that I think everyone should stop and discover, if you ever pass through Wright city, you should definitely check out StLouisianaQ !!

A hidden gem. This place is one of those restaurants that you stumble across and when you taste the food you ask yourself “How did I NOT KNOW about this place?!” Hands down the best fried pork tenderloin sandwich I have ever had. And what made it even better was when the chef came out and visited with my husband and I while we ate. He is the nicest, sweetest man ever. He does everything in this restaurant. He IS this restaurant. Fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful service, wonderful owner/chef. My husband and I will definitely go back.

9/7 – I went in right before noon, I’m thinking it was just the chef maybe owner there Tawana, I believe. She was the sweetest lady!! The server who came in a bit later was also very nice, friendly, attentive and outgoing. I loved my experience waiting on my to go order.
The food! I got the dirty fries the pulled pork was amazing and I loved the heavy smoke flavor it had. I loved it so much I ate all the fries and saved the top pulled pork, bbq, cheesy goodness to eat by itself! I’ll be going back.

We met here for the first time to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. And WOW! What a great find! The owner, Chef T greeted us upon our arrival, gave us a bit of background info regarding the restaurant, told us about menu items, we shared stories, laughs, then we got down “to business” deciding what we wanted to eat. There were so many items on the menu that looked delicious, Chef T suggested a few he thought we’d enjoy. Since 1 was his Country Fried Chicken, he explained it would be about 15 minutes to prepare. The wait was not a problem, as we hadn’t been together with our daughter & son-in-law for awhile–gave us time to get caught up. The food was soooo good! I felt like I was back in Louisiana eating the best Southern style food around. I rated the atmosphere 5 stars, not because the restaurant is anything fancy, but because Chef T and his server, Mattie made us feel like we were dining with old friends. The restaurant is spotless, food is fabulous, service is the best & we will definitely jump in the car and drive 2 hrs (each way) to go there again! Next time we’ll go later in the evening to hear the live music!
