We recently dined at Trio Grill and had a great meal! The food was fantastic, with my wife enjoying the fish tacos and me loving the buffalo chicken wings. Both dishes were delicious!
However, reason for the 4 star service and 4 star atmosphere, we had a $10 off gift certificate that the restaurant refused to honor, claiming it had expired, even though the ticket did not specify an expiration date. In fact, the certificate even said, ‘Does not Expire.’ They compensated us with free desserts, which, while generous, seemed counterintuitive since the desserts were valued higher than the $10 discount.
The atmosphere was quite dark, and the slot machines making a lot of noise. Making it difficult to fully enjoy the surroundings. After our meal, we had to wait over 25 minutes for the waitress to bring our bill, which was a bit frustrating, but nothing extreme.
Trio Grill offers fantastic food! Would highly recommend!

Good experience. This is a great place to meet for appetizers. They have a fish fry on Friday and prime rib on Saturdays.
Love the fries.

It’s a shame that Trio was good less than a month ago and has gone south so quick. I always loved their monthly specials but in all honest the Korean BBQ gave this jaw one gigantic workout. Never finished as the beef was rubber and the veggies were of the same quality. Would have given it 1 star for the the food but even the service deserved somethings

We got the Cinco de Mayo lunch special and it was nothing like what the menu said. I understand they are closing and the main chef wasn’t in, but if you say corn tortillas then serve corn, not flour. The rest of the food was ok. It is said to see them close down we hope them all the best.

A FANTASTIC venue for a bridal shower – I live in Parker, CO – my daughter (bride) lives in Oregon and my daughter (Matron of honor) lives in Milwaukee and our extended family lives in IL. We were looking for a centrally located venue that would have a private room, offer DELICIOUS food choices, and has OUTSTANDING customer service. Venue was clean, (even the public bathrooms were clean) and private room was a perfect size and tastefully arranged. Sandy was a delight to coordinate with (prompt and concise communications via email & phone) and she delivers what she says she’s going to do. Her enthusiasm was contagious- making me look forward to our event. Generous servings of food and beverages. Our server, Joey, was a true professional making sure every need was met.

Because I gave a rave review of a meal we had (written under Glo-Bowl) my son and DIL gave us another gift card. My husband and I both enjoyed the fish fry yesterday- I had the baked. My husband said it was one of the best he’s had. Our server, Cecilia, was friendly, attentive and efficient. We were sad to learn the restaurant is closing. I think the chefs are very talented and hope they find work in a fine dining establishment because the food they prepared is excellent in taste and presentation and take Cecilia with you – preferably near Johnsburg. Good luck to everyone there.

Food was excellent. Thought it was going to be average bowling alley food but boy was I wrong. Extensive menu of great looking food. I had the fried pickles and a western burger. Burger was top notch and cooked how you like it. The fried pickles need a little help. They weren’t that flavorful and the ranch sauce they gave with them was super runny and didn’t taste that great. Service was ok. Go there you will not be disappointed.

Love this place! The food is amazing, and it is a little bit like Cheers. We walk in and they know our name. They have many weekly fun things to do. Bowling, Yoga, Trivia and offer many party options. Whether we are bowling, eating, gambling or hanging out on the patio we always feel welcome. OH.. and their patio is dog friendly!
