Shrimp fried rice is my favorite dish. The first time I had it here it was awesome. But this last time the rice was dried out. I bought another order to bring home and I had to put it in the microwave and sprinkle it with water so that I could rehydrate the rice other than that it was good the shrimper good size. The service is good and the people are nice.

Was passing through the area this evening when I decided to pick up takeout instead of going home to cook. Wish I had I kept driving!! The food was probably the worst Chinese take out I’ve ever had. The large order of sweet and sour chicken came with a 3oz portion of sauce and the chicken was so over cooked it wasn’t edible. The beef teriyaki was also extremely over cooked and tough. Not to mention they were very small. The wonton soup was very oily and contained nothing but soggy wontons. The eggrolls were over cooked. The fried rice was average but very greasy. The chicken lo mein was the only item didn’t gross me out and even that only contained small bits of chicken, onion and noodles. I spent 70$ to feed my family and were alls till hungry because the food was gross. We will never ever go back. Save your money and go elsewhere!!

food was nasty all the way around. Crab rangoons were way over cooked as well as had very little to no filling. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and there was no sweet and sour sauce. the egg roll was also over cooked and the inside was cold. The batter on the chicken was overcooked as well but the chicken inside was not cooked all the way. I ordered this at 12:50 they said it would be 20 minutes. I picked up at 1:15 the food should have been fresh instead of overcooked and stale. Overall terrible experience and I do not recommend.

First time eating here. Driving through the area and decided to stop in for their lunch specials. Dining room is old and cluttered. We were the only ones there. Waitress was busy with take-out which seems to be the more popular choice. Food was just ok. Only thing piping hot was the pork chow mein. Probably better choices in the area.

Drove all the way out in the storm; bought several platters; they only gave us half of our items; no rice or side. The lady refused to fix the problem, we used to order this all the time and never have this issue. After an issue like this getting essentially double charged because of snow, shows this business has no care for its customers.

Came here for dinner. Very disappointed. The food was hot but some of it was over cooked and dry like the boneless spare ribs and the sodas were flat which was weird until we saw that they were using 2 liter soda bottles to pour drinks so it made sense and the fortune cookie was very stale almost to the point of being chewy, The server was very polite. But as for the quality of the product that was disappointing.

My boyfriend and I were very excited to try jade garden for the first time. The first thing we bit into was the chicken fingers and they were RAW. Please be careful when ordering for your children and such make sure to cut things open. My boyfriend has felt sick all day since eating that early last night. Salmonella comes from raw chicken and can be life threatening.

Have ordered here a few times in the past, been OK… The last couple times were mediocre at best but I figured I’d give it a try. I went in. I ordered a combination to go which had pork Fried Rice, chicken fingers, a Spring roll and ordered some additional fried shrimp, and it also came with wanton soup. The only thing that was remotely warm was the fried shrimp which was so over fried the batter was not even chewable. Everything else tasted like it had been precooked, everything was completely dried out chewy the rice was undercooked and hard. Even the soup was ROOM TEMP. I tried to be nice and call and tell them that I was disappointed in my order.And was told it was because it took me 12 minutes to get home and fried food don’t stay warm. HOW ODD. It stays warm from everywhere else. I Do not appreciate Paying nearly forty dollars for a terrible meal and then awful service to boot. DO NOT RECOMMEND . Never again.

The first time we went there the owner served us and the service was fast and the food was hot however the second time we went our server was not exactly all put together talked alot while we were eating and we really couldn’t even be just us together (felt like a 3rd wheel) way to involved but the food was still good

Been ordering from Jade since moving into Putnam and I have to say that it’s the best place chinese around the area however lately the business has gone down. After ordering and scheduling to pick up my food at a certain time and arriving 15 minutes later, I still had to wait 45 minutes for my order and then they had a sign displayed charging an extra fee for Credit Card usuage which is against the law in CT.
