Overall i think the food flavor is good. The portions are Very small. We ordered combination fried rice, pork chow mein and singha beef. We are a family of 4 2 adults a 2 year old, 6 year old. My 2 year old didn’t eat much and the food was not enough. The beef singha was in a small plate which in my opinion is not a sharable size At All. We asked if the entree was sharable and were told yes but definitely not. The chow mein and rice were barely enough for 2 adults and a 6 year. The elderly woman who took our order was very kind and very sweet. She gave our daughters a to go hello panda sweet treat which was very kind and made our daughters night. It was past our kids bedtime so we did not have time to order more food.and wait for it again. The thai tea was no more than 6-7oz ( thats being very generous ) with their small narrow cup and filled with ice. 4 sips and done. Out total was $55 or $56

We travel the United States for our work and have eaten in dozens of Thai restaurants. Singha is definitely in our top ten. The atmosphere is very comfortable, the service made us feel like we were at home and the food was fresh and delicious. If you are in Bakersfield and craving Thai food I would recommend making a visit here!

I have been eating at Singha since 2007. Their warm family atmosphere always makes me feel welcomed. It is nice to be called by my name at such an amazing restaurant. Their Tom Yum soup with shrimp is my favorite. Out of many Thsi restaurants I have visited in CA, Singha is by far my favorite. The flavor of their dishes is reliable. You get the same taste every time. I highly recommend.

I order the special lunch Ginger Chicken oh boy it was so Good. I came back the next day and order the same. Its so yummy I love the ginger pieces. Service was fine. Restaurant is small, owner and staff are nice. The tofu curry is also delicious. Ill come back again.

I’ve been coming here since 2007 and its still my favorite Thai restaurant. Their Tom Yum soup is the best…and ive tried Tom Yum all over California and nothing compares.
Their prices are great, the portions are good and the people working here are so kind.
My favorite dishes are Yum Nua, Tom Yum, Had See-ew, Fried wontons, and mango with sticky rice for dessert. Try these out if you havent already 🙂

Ordered a handful of times now and while the main flavor is pretty authentic and actually good the overall dish isn’t complete as a whole for example the quality of the beef in terms the way it’s cooked or it itself isn’t all that great, chicken and tofu are the way to go. The egg rolls feel like a mini burrito with how thick the outer flour is, the yellow curry has a great base flavor but no carrots slightly on the watery side and the small sized white rice with a decent sized curry isn’t optimal, should come with a medium white rice at the very least. The duck curry I also ordered was good yet the downfall is it was over saturated with pineapple and maybe sugar in the curry it was a little too sweet for my liking, the pad sew ew overall was pretty spot on besides the protein although a smaller serving for that one in perticular for some reason. The glass noodles also above average the only downfall with the noodles dishes was the amount of oil they had in them. Restaurant has potential as again the base flavors are rather good sadly not all that well executed and brought together as a whole, with each dish having a certain short coming.

Terrible place with terrible services! When I entered trying to get a table, I was completely ignored. Servers avoided eye contact and walked right past me as if I wasn’t there. Luckily I flagged down a server who told me to sit at a numbered table. The funny thing is there were no numbers on any of the tables.
When my food was finally brought out, the interaction felt cold and dismissive There was no smile and no hospitality. No one checked on my table at all, not to mention that I had to get their attention to get my check at the end, which seemed to inconvenience them.
For the whole time, I just wanted to leave. I feel this is some kind of discrimination. This is not the first time I’m experiencing this at this restaurant. I don’t recommend this restaurant, and customers shouldn’t be treated this way.

Owners are really Thais so that makes a huge difference. They were even able to adapt the taste and requirement as we don’t eat spicy dishes. The crispy pork was really delicious especially when we asked them to make it with the basil which is not in the menu. Singha beer was served extra cold with a cold mug. The crew were al friendly as well.

My first time here, on a friend’s referral…it was 7 out of 10 for me. First, the area is fairly nice and the decoŕ is beautifully unique. The staff are very kind as well. The food would have gotten a 10 out 10 for me, had the meat not been as tough as it was. My family members that accompanied me were also in agreement that the meat was on the tough side but the flavor was a 9 out 10. The flavor of the dishes were on point. My main dish was the Green Curry with Chicken and it was pretty good with the exception of the tough chicken meat. As far as me coming back here, I’m not sure it would be my first choice, maybe my third

I stumbled upon this little restaurant yesterday. I figured I would try it out. The server gentleman was helpful and professional. I ordered egg rolls and spicy fried rice with pork. Everything was authentic and the flavour was on point. If and when in the area I definitely stop by again.
