First I must say, the Irish beer selection was….guiness. I could have went with a bottled Harp. However the food was delicious! The special was the pork on the bone. I say “on the bone” lightly as it was melt in your mouth fall off the bone tender. The portion size was fantastic. The food was delicious and tender. Flavorful and filling. So filling we didn’t try the dessert. If I had time id go back to try the dessert special for tonight.
The service and atmosphere was spectacular. The serving staff were attentive. Entering this space set the vibe amd the interior enhanced it. We saw a few families with young children so id say yes to family friendly. I highly recommend this place. All four of us enjoyed it.

First time here! Apparently they just opened up for lunch this week! Atmosphere was great, the staff were attentive! The decorations and how everything was set up and with the music it was awesome! I had the smoked salmon sand-which it was delicious! A dill spread with cucumbers and micro greens it was super refreshing and the pub chips were salted just right! Overall 10/10 dinning experience I will be back!

We tried McGuires for the first time last night and we really enjoyed! It was New Year’s Eve and they had a very festive atmosphere, but we did not plan on going for any special event. The food was amazing. We all enjoyed something different the menu and no-one in our group of 5 was disappointed. I personally loved their fish and chips. Service was attentive on a busy evening and i loved the authentic Irish pub vibe. We will be going back again, i’m sure!

Just as I remember I’m so happy that it reopened. It brings out so many memories just the place itself. Thank you for that!! Great selection of beer. I personally enjoyed the cider. Good food and attentive staff. Cool edgy Irish rock music was playing on the day of my visit. If you can only add one more dish to the menu I’d be the happiest girl in the world and it’s bbq burgers. Those were the sloppiest stickies sweet and tangy burgers ever. With a pickle on the side and pub chips. Yum!!!

Well it’s back open. The beer is good. Limited. The food was not good. Frozen fish sticks. Overpriced for sure. Won’t be back. To many other places to choose from. See fish and chips photo. Sausage and mashed potatoes,, 20$??

My wife and I visit McGuire’s after an early movie up the street. Their Reubens are hearty & delicious, and I like the pub taters. I don’t really drink anymore, but looks like a good selection of ales. The wait staff are friendly and attentive as well

Meguire’s pub has reopened with an outstanding atmosphere and friendly staff. The Reuben I ordered exceeded all expectations with a huge amount of meat, cheese and sauerkraut like I’ve never seen at any restaurant before. The bartender, Marissa, was very knowledgeable about beers and very friendly!

Fish and chips were fantastic. Atmosphere and service made a very pleasant Sunday brunch. A must see when in Hickory. We can’t wait to try the Stout pie next time.

Wings are amazing. Reuben sandwich is phenomenal. Beer is delicious and cheap. Erin our waitress was so friendly! We come here monthly for dinner dates. Such a cool authentic place.
