A small, local pizza shop well worth the trip. Close to a major avenue so easy to get to and there should be plenty of parking in the lot. This may also be because the dining area is tiny, most people likely get takeout or delivery.
They serve great New York Style pizzas, as well as stromboli, sandwiches and typical pizza shop appetizers. The crust is spot-on being foldable in the middle while standing up to plenty of toppings and thick and crispy on the outside. Extra toppings are good quality and generous. The pizza prices are quite reasonable though extra toppings are a bit pricey.
This location is worth checking out if you want to explore local authentic pizza shops!

First time we have been here under new management. People were nice but…. food doesn’t taste the same. This place was always a go to spot everytime I came into town. Pizza was OK, sauce is definitely not the same, Mushrooms are not seasoned. Really disappointed.

I haven’t been to the Pleasant Valley Blvd Brother’s, but figured that since it is a franchise, it would be similar to Bellwood’s Brothers. Nope.
I ordered a family size stromboli, there was a single slice of ham, one after another, so maybe 4 or 5 pieces of ham in total and observed up to 10 pepperoni slices. This definitely was not worth $22.50 in my opinion.
The only reason I gave 2 stars, is because it had a fair amount of cheese.
I don’t know if I’m being too picky, but definitely didn’t meet expectations.

We haven’t had brothers in years bc it just went down hill. We seen there was new owners and gave it a try. We got a large meat stromboli, a calzone, and a large salad. The boli and calzone was cooked perfectly and I liked the new style. Our poor delivery driver was soaked from the rain.We will def be back.

Continues to be the best pizza in Altoona. New owners seem to have kept the best parts. Service was very polite and on time.

New owners as of 7/15/2025. I’m a new customer here and will stay thst way. Came in on opening day and got a couple of strombolis. The strombolis were good but the marinara dipping sauce was soooooo good. New owner was friendly and had a family vibe to the place. Will be back the next time I’m craving a Stromboli
