Food was gas but so was I. Have eaten here numerous times with no problems but this time was a different story. Ordered pickup online 35 minutes before closing and ate it outside with a friend. 15 minutes later we were both flooring it on the way home trying to make it to the toilet. Heavily suspecting something was wrong with / put in the food since we both experienced the same symptoms at the same time and this was the only place we ate together at. Would not recommend eating here, at least not 30 minutes before closing (I guess it’s my fault too)

Sign the waiver and there may be tears. The actual chicken is great and the spice can really creep up on you. The loaded fries were a hit. The soda machine definitely got some use. Little expensive but what isn’t these days? The staff was friendly and keep the place pretty clean. Too bad they don’t have “drinks”. Would definitely come back.

The food here is absolutely delicious, crispy, flavorful chicken that hits the spot every time. The sandwich was perfectly seasoned, and the fries were fresh and satisfying. You can tell they put care into the quality, and it really shows in the taste.
That said, the price point is tough to swallow. Over $16 for just one sandwich and fries feels excessive, especially when compared to similar spots. I’d love to come back more often, but the cost makes it more of an occasional splurge than a regular go-to.
If you’re looking for amazing chicken and don’t mind paying a premium, Hangry Joe’s won’t disappoint. Just be prepared for the sticker shock.

Oh my, it was really really good! We had wings and fries. The wings had just the right amount of breading. It was delicate and crisp and the wings were large, juicy and tender. The Old Bay rub was die for. The gentleman who served us was very helpful and kind. I would frequent this spot if I lived in the area. Will hope to stop in again and wish them the best. They are doing it right!

Trying it for the first time and I am impressed. As promised the wings were hot. We tried the medium, Hot and the hot smoky BBQ and the Korean wings.. they were all very tasty and crispy. Only down side, there was oil at the end of the basket which kinda changed up the taste of the wings that were at the bottom. Good sauces. We also tried the fries, it was good.

Service with a smile! Stopped in to try a chicken sandwich I’m visiting the area and wasn’t disappointed one bit! the price point to the amount of I food received was better then I had expected. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! As far the the sandwich and Fry’s go Fantastic! I got the medium spicy dry rub and it had a great kick to it so definitely use caution if you arent a spicy fan with the medium its definitely enough to make your nose run! The only thing I would suggest and it’s not a complaint at all and more a suggestion to owners to save on food cost for the business is to put less cole slaw on the sandwich and rather then slicing the cabbage in Juliana strings do a rough chop on it because the stings cause the cole slaw to be pulled out from the sandwich as you eat it and I wound up not eating quite a bit of the slaw I definitely will be back when I’m in the area if a few weeks!

One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had! I love that it’s an all meat chicken breast, no fat or gristle on it at all. I had the medium level spice and it was SPICY!! I wouldn’t advise going higher than that unless you really like heat! The waffle fries were amazing! I had the waffle fries with honey butter and I loved it!! I definitely will be ordering from here again!!

The chicken sandos here are probably the best in the area! I would highly recommend getting the regular at least once but if you’re not starving a chicken sando jr. might be enough because the portions are huge. In the regular, the chicken is much bigger than the bun so you are guaranteed crispy chicken bites before biting into the sandwich that could make the chicken a little soggy sometimes. Their hangry sauce is also delicious with a little bit of heat.
They are very generous with the coleslaw which pairs well with the chicken and I like how it adds acidity and isn’t mayo based. Their fried chicken and their waffle fries are seasoned so well and definitely super crunchy, even if you are taking it out. Their definition of spice may be different from what you are used to so I would recommend stepping down on the spice level because even the no heat has some kick to it. After trying most of their menu, I would recommend mostly the tenders or the sandos because that’s what they specialize in. The loaded fries get soggy from the oil and it came with a disproportionate amount of chicken bites over only a few fries. Sometimes the wait here can get a bit long but it’s worth it.
