Totally wasn’t what I ordered. I don’t eat haddock which is what l received instead of my catfish. I was offered to return it for the correct item, but this is the second time in a row this happened to me here. And I don’t live close to the location. I was really disappointed because I truly want to patronize. I just can’t have this keep happening.

I had notice this place about a month ago, I love a good fish fry. Let me tell you that the name is deceptive “Jumbo’s” We ordered The Haddock, jumbo 5 jumbo shrimp, and grits. The flavors were ok but you didn’t get much food for the price. The shrimp were large but that piece of fish, I mean could they spare me another piece? It was this long thin piece of haddock . The grits were ok. Next time I’ll make my own. With all of that said, my curiosity had been settled. This was the 1st and the last time for me. Everyone’s expectations are different. Btw, the girl that took our order was so soft spoke I couldn’t hear her. They had the radio playing very loud so I had to keep asking her what she said.

I’ve ordered from here since day one and I’m tired of trying explain to people that I like my fish fried hard, so that the skin doesn’t fall off 3 times in a row they can’t seem to get it right. I give up trying to support BOB( black owned businesses) it’s a waste of my time and money. Fish was unseasoned, batter was full of seasonings and they have changed the size of their shrimp jumbo to medium. I’m good.

Nasty food and service to match. Visited this business with my sister with plans to try a variety of menu items. The first item requested wasn’t available so we asked which menu items were. The response was that was the only thing not available (Fettuccine Alfredo). However; after several more attempts, it was revealed that much of the menu was in fact, unavailable (crab cakes, salmon patties, pound cake, ALL beverages listed on their white board). Upon receiving our food we were surprised to find hot foods poorly plated over cold food items (hot fries piled over Mac salad). I also questioned the restaurant’s bread choice as I’ve never seen fried fish paired with wheat bread. The response I received from the woman behind the counter exuded offense and disgust as she informed us they just use whatever bread they have. The hush puppies were extremely dry and overcooked. The fried fish was absolutely flavorless, I’m not even sure they used salt as a minimum to season the food. I would never visit this restaurant again. We didn’t even eat what we purchased.

Ordered from here last night. Catfish diner with fries. It was horrible. The catfish taste liked it was cooked with sand and uncooked at that, and the fries were burnt. I paid 20.65$ for that. Horrible….
