Established in 2011, Theo’s began in St. Michaels, Maryland as a traditional steakhouse. Being in a resort town, Theo’s quickly became a casual hot spot offering elevated, high-quality dining for visitors as well as a beloved favorite among locals. Heavily influenced by New Orleans, our flagship property in St. Michaels features eclectic art, moody colors, and comfortable seating in the once-historic home it resides in. Our second location in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware is a well-lit vibrant space with a cozy outdoor patio nestled right downtown on Baltimore Avenue. No matter the location, you’re sure to meet local town celebrities and unforgettable characters. We believe that great atmospheres are created by the people who enjoy them.
Sleek yet traditional steakhouse with hand-carved sides of beef, upscale appetizers & a full bar.

Our waiter, Chance, was very attentive without being intrusive. He was a delight! The food was amazing! We are not big eaters, but the portions look large. Special occasion, so we had champagne and dessert. Very understated curb appeal. Highly recommend, especially for a romantic dinner.
I had the meatloaf and Mashed potatoes which were fantastic. The key lime pie is not to be missed. Cocktails were excellent, Manhattan and a dirty martini.
We came here for a proper steak dinner, and it delivered big time. Kept it simple with mains and a few sides—onion rings, mushrooms, and fries. The onion rings were spot on, but the real star? The meat. I know my steaks, and these were cooked to perfection.
We ordered both medium, and as you can see in the photos, they came out exactly right. Went with the ribeye on the bone ($87) and the New York strip ($67). Pro tip: we asked for thick cuts, and the super friendly waitress made sure the kitchen nailed it just how we wanted. Couldn’t have asked for a better steak night.
Total cost with one glass of wine 262 including 20% tip
Everything we had was delicious. French onion soup, oysters Christopher, Wagu ribeye, and home made key lime pie.
Great white tablecloth dining experience.
Food is top quality, prepared and presented beautifully. Service was friendly and on point.
Our reservation overlapped happy our so the noise generated by two women who no doubt had one too many was loud and annoying…fortunately when the hour ended and proceed returned to standard they left.
This can be resolved by simply reserving after 6:15PM.
We will return!
I had the saltiest steak of my life here. For a steakhouse, they should know better. For steak context, Ruth’s Chris is cheaper and 100x better. You can’t mess up steak when you’re a steakhouse. Nick was able to remedy this situation himself by bringing us melted unsalted butter which counteracted all the salt on the steak. Seriously best server we’ve had in years. Give him a raise.
Atmosphere is a little stuffy. Drinks are a little light on the pour. Desert was the best part of the meal. Sadly, there really isn’t a better steakhouse in St. Michael’s due to no competition. You’ll have a much better meal at limoncello.
The hostess/GM could definitely be friendlier as well.
