Julio’s is one of my favorite spots in Round Lake Park. The food is always fresh, the service is friendly, and the portions are generous.

The tacos were good. The quesabirria is good. I have done take out and dine in. They have a good variety of glass bottle drink options, so that’s a plus! Overall, would recommend.

I mean, there are a lot of taquerias in the area (and I’ve visited a good majority of them) but this place is awesome.
Listen, I’m a boring white dude, and I like my nachos. I’ve been to places where they *almost* get it right, but there’s always a miss (the other places will have bland chicken, for instance, or they don’t include quac, or the chips are stale – whatever), but Julio’s… Julio’s, my friends, they get it right.
Plus the people are awesome, there’s karaoke (I can’t understand a word but who cares!) and they are kind enough to remember my name. Heck, even *I* forget my name sometimes.
Anyhoo, this is place for awesome food at a great value.

Great food, drinks too.. but the rice is not good.. it tastes like old aceite (oil). Staff is wonderful!! They always have a smile!! I rate Julios 9/10!

New owners, new name. Julio’s is our new favorite place to get authentic Mexican food! So damn good, service is awesome and food is even better. The one night we were coming home late from bowling and the owner took my order anyway even though he was cleaning up. We have been loyal fans ever since! Give them a try, you won’t regret it!!!

My sister and I went last night spent over 60$ for the food to taste weird this is our first and last time.The only thing that was ok was the horchata I got a burrito she got nachos the steak meat tasted like hamburger meat the cheese was kinda nasty tasted sour. We got my brother and nephew arrachera tacos dinners the meat was cooked fully but little to no flavor. The host also told us 15 minutes for our order we went in 25 minutes later and they didn’t even start our order so we waited an additional 15 minutes. Maybe it was a bad night who knows.

May look small on the outside, but its ample inside. Several booths, tables to sit and A mini bar with stools. Food is made to order and has the authentic Mexican flavors. I had the torta Alpastor-very filling, full of flavor. If you order tacos get them with everything but get the lettuce, tomatoes on the side. The salsa is delicious and perfect addition to your tacos if you want a kick of spice to your food. Cant wait to try other menu items!
