As someone originally from Hong Kong, I can say that their food brings back memories of authentic Cantonese flavors, even though it’s slightly Americanized.
I ordered House Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, and mixed vegetable. And I especially love their House Fried Rice! The meat is tender and juicy, the rice has the perfect texture, and it boasts that desirable wok-charred flavor without being overly greasy. I think this is the best fried rice I’ve had in town!
The Mongolian Beef and Mixed Vegetables are also top-notch. Both dishes are seasoned just right, with a savory depth that pairs perfectly with the rice.
I am very surprised and delighted by the quality of the food here. Sun Shine II has truly exceeded my expectations and is now my go-to spot for delicious Cantonese take-out. Highly recommended!

Love this place, it’s one of my favorites spots to get takeout when I’m in town! My family and I have even had it for our Christmas dinner a couple of times. I had Orange Beef for the first time from Sun Shine and now it’s one of my favorite dishes. Other highlights are the Sesame Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and the NY-style Fried Rice which they can modify to your liking.

Been coming to this restaurant for the last 4 or so years and kind of embarrassed it’s taken so long to rate. People here are very kind and have offered to redo my food when I mess up the order. The spicy fried rice is by far my favorite go to meal on Tuesdays since they are closed on mondays. Great food and kind people!
