Liked the food, didn’t really have the spice I was thinking but didn’t notice until I was halfway done eating it. Was sauce and flavorful enough I didn’t notice.
Parking is weird. You pull in either through the building (like if it had a castle drawbridge or something. It’s two buildings connected at the second level) and park behind, or there’s a side road entrance immediately if you miss it on the left (west bound).
They sell their own bottles sauces too.
Seemed to be just the one guy manning the front and cooking in the back, though when I called a head there was a woman who took my order.

Jerk chicken Mac and cheese. Very luscious. Delicious.
Stewed chicken (with potato and carrot), cabbage, and plaintains. Was a great dish. Really liked the stewed chicken. Cabbage is my favorite vegetable too so this was a really good meal to me. Bones in the chicken, but meat fell off of them super easily.
Had kiwi-ade. Was non sparkling but reminded me of sprite. Guess it’s the lemonade part.
Inside is a diner-y, quick casual restaurant type of feel. Don’t think I saw a restroom though, unsure.

Me and my wife were looking for some good Jamaican food as we are new to the area. We were remarkably satisfied with the quality of this place. The oxtails and jerk chicken were amazing. So much flavor! We had rice and beans, cabbage, plantain and mac n cheese as well which were all amazing as well. We will be visiting Ziggels a lot in the future. Also the owner/chef is very inviting and warm.

UPDATE: I stopped in a few weeks ago, and the curry chicken platter did not taste like the first time. The seasoning level was so-so. I did not enjoy it. Maybe it was an off day.
PREVIOUS: I ordered the curry chicken platter with an extra side of sautéed cabbage. Everything was delicious! My order was prepared in under 20 minutes. The service was friendly. I will definitely order from Ziggel’s again and recommend it to others.

I ordered the oxtails with a side of curry goat! The curry goat was phenomenal and bursting with flavor! Everything was very good and the oxtails were so tender! We had a very large party and pretty much took over the restuarant! The staff was so friendly and kind. I was in town for the weekend and even tried to come back on Sunday but they were closed! 🙁

Ziggels restaurant is such a great place to dine. I come here once a month with my dad for a special treat. The owner and his wife are so sweet and the meals and the portions are great. The restaurant has a dine in option and I love it because the owners like to engage with their patrons. The food is pretty good and decently priced. There is a decent amount of parking in the back of the restaurant. I really like this place and I am certain many others will too. I recommend the stew chicken. Yum

The oxtails were perfectly tender—fall‑off‑the‑bone and melt‑in‑your‑mouth good, with great flavor and no overwhelming spice. The owner was warm, friendly, and happy to answer all my questions. This spot is definitely a hidden gem, and I will absolutely be back again!

We found this hidden gem online and we’re so glad we did! Excellent food, excellent service, the place is adorable and SO SO SO CLEAN! My husband ordered the jerk chicken with rice and cabbage and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with delicious spices and a side of French fries! Next time I’m going for the short ribs and Mac and cheese! We highly recommend !!!!

Oxtail, jerk chicken, stewed chicken, curry goat – all amazing! The oxtail and jerk chicken were our favorites. Flavors are fantastic and perfect to mix with their great mac and cheese and rice and beans sides. The owner is so kind and welcoming as well. Will definitely be returning and I highly recommend all visit. This is some of the best, most authentic food in South Jersey.

Certainly the best Jamaican food I had in south Jersey. The food is delicious, fresh and you get great service with a smile. I’ll be coming here again soon. I had the oxtail with rice and peas and escovich with rice peas w/ sweet plantain and chicken patty. Everything was delicious.
