I do not recommend this place. The food lacks flavor. The drinks are over sweetened. I used the bathroom and it smelled like sewer. They are dirty. The whole place looks very run down. There was also a wasp nesting behind the sign. It just screams food borne illness in here. You do get paper plates and cup and it is a self service place. You see my rice, it’s not Chinese rice it’s just rice with yellow food coloring. $13 down the drain.

This was my first visit to the Hong King Chinese Buffett, the food that I ate was very delicious the yellow rice was amazing. The chicken wings 2 different flavors were very good as well. I also tried some of the sweet and sour chicken and it was tasty. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the workers were very polite. I will definitely eat there again with my family.

TERRIBLE. This restaurant is horrible. The food is not fresh. Looks like it has been sitting out for hours crusty and dry. The food was very oily. Badly seasoned, the whole place is badly kept up. I’m not sure how or why it’s still open for business. I won’t be returning to this restuarant.

I pretty much never do this type of review… negative… I honestly try to focus on anything positive n go w that but omggg no.. not this time due to I didn’t see nor experience anything positive nor will I chance returning to dig deep for any positive. The buffet.. minimum is understatement on variety.. all food was omgg not good. Mushy or ancient n soggy.. the service almost non existent. And just no.. trust me. Just do not attempt this place. I love this restaurant! Very quiet dining experience with a pleasant and helpful staff. A little bit of an undercovered gem here in Newberry South Carolina. I’d like to advocate this as being an excellent laid-back dinner for those wanting to escape the hustling and bustling of Newberry’s billions of fast food restaurants.
