Home Run Burger started in 2008 as a small family-owned spot in Louisville, Kentucky. It was a simple idea—serve great burgers made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. People came in, had a great meal, and left happy. Over time, that small restaurant became a favorite in the community, known for its fresh high Quality Angus Beef burgers and hand-cut fries.

Restaurant was clean service was great.
Food was good burgers are little dry for my taste. Burgers are little thin as well. I would definitely get 2 patties next time and request to not over cook the meat. Flavor was good I got the blue cheese with beacon. The price is ok. I will return and give them a try again. I will post a update soon.

This is for people who like to really CUSTOMIZE their burgers. I’m talking toppings, toppings, TOPPINGS for free. Also, just drive through it pickup to go because dining inside is rough.
FOOD: Burgers were solid. My friend who really likes burgers really customized her burger and was pleased with it. The fries were hot and crispy.
SERVICE: The place, when we stopped by, was run by two dudes. One was cooking in the kitchen and the other was operating cashier and drive through. The guy at the front was polite and gave us more napkins when I asked.
VIBE INSIDE: They’ve got a cramped space with some tables. Everything is simply functional. Floor is a bit stick when walking around, but sometimes that happens when the cleaning solution the place uses is too concentrated. I say this because it didn’t seem to be dirt or grease.

The service was excellent. The staff asked for my preference on cooking fries, food was delivered to my table and staff repeatedly checked in on me to see if I needed anything. (I dined alone and ate relatively slow – distracted by my iPhone.)
The food was delicious, hot and cooked to order. Premium beef, bun and toppings (real, crispy bacon). The regular sized portion was more than adequate. I ate all the burger and left a few fries, but my appetite was satisfied. Although I did go back to the counter for more BBQ sauce on my burger, there was no extra charge. The fries (seasoned) were tasty, which allowed me to ignore the absence of Heinz ketchup being the condiment brand I prefer. In fact, I actually dipped them in BBQ sauce that was left over for my burger.
The beverages (Pepsi products) were okay. They served both fountain drinks and some canned in a display cooler. I prefer Coke products, so I can’t offer any useful feedback there.
I rate the dine-in atmosphere as (4) stars, because it is typical fast food seating – hard chairs with no padding. The building used to be a Dairy Queen, so the existing/repurposed furniture is .designed more for utility than comfort. It was clean and tidy, so that is good.
I suggest downloading the app beforehand your first visit. It includes a $5 coupon and allows you to study the menu options beforehand. Since it isn’t a local restaurant chain, everything is new at first.

Decided to try for the first time on a Saturday afternoon was pleasantly surprised I enjoyed my burger a lil dry but added some more condiments and was just fine(thick buns) ….chili cheese fries were good!
The Cajun burger was good ( great sauce) !

Will be returning here for sure!!!! So delicious. Better be hungry when you order here!!! Their sandwichs are thick and heavy. I’m mean 28 topping possibility…. yummy!!! My only complaint is we asked for our cheese for our cheese fries to be on the side…. they gave us one cup. I personally think each cheese fry should have their own cheese cup.

First, I am surprised this place is still in business. The marketing genius who placed it on the selfsame city block with Burger King, McDonalds and Wendy’s must be a little touched . To think you can slay these titans of the burger world with a slingshot like this is really nuts.
The service was very slow and the restaurant was virtually deserted except for the friends of the quite confused young man at the counter. The restaurant itself is cramped and you have to endure a radio station played too loud. I hate having to yell at my dinner partner.
I got a flat, tasteless burger and they forgot my fries which were soggy when I finally got them. My fiancé got a “cod” sandwich which was 2 small triangles with limp lettuce and tomato. Really sparse awful food for which I was charged $25. We found it lacking in good service, food, atmosphere and taste. Not a good value for your money. Save your money and tastebuds. Go across the street to Burger King where they get it right and the prices are more reasonable. Better yet stay home and cook your own.

The customer service was great!! Rhonada was the best!! She named off all of the options for us and made suggestions,she was just wonderful! We will come back just for her customer service!! The food was good..they messed up and put my A-1 sauce on my burger instead of the side and they re made the chilli cheese fries with it. The burgers could be a little more beefy. But the customer service was the best!!! The fries could be a little more crispy but I did get chilli and cheese on them so… my daughter got the regular cheese burger w bacon. She enjoyed it.

Tried out this KY based burger chain for the first time. It did not disappoint! Taste is great for both the burgers and chicken sandwich. The Cajun fries need a little more seasoning put on them to be considered Cajun. My husband and I will happily return and try more of their extensive menu!

Ordered these to try a new place. Absolutely stupendous! The cheese fry portion in Large is amazing for the price, and the burgers are super flavorful
No grease, no mess and arrived piping hot! I love the use of paper bags and foil to wrap the burgers, an I appreciate non-sesame seed buns because my partner is allergic and its hard to find places that dont use sesame or peanut oil!
10/10 will be returning.
