After visiting for the first time we will definitely be coming back again and again. The croissants and blueberry muffins were divine. They even put butter on them and heated them up for us after purchasing them. I spent just as much time talking to the owner as I did looking at all the old books displayed and for sale. The service we received was unmatched even with the large amount of business they had. We saw the large line turn over multiple times while we were sitting there, so dont let a long line deter you, it moves fast! The coffee options were almost endless, and both coffees we got beat out the big chain coffees I’ve gotten anywhere, so dont let the simple menu displayed in store turn you off. Definitely give this place a shot if you’re ever in Centralia!

Finally, a place to get a decent cup of coffee in Centralia. Ordered a very respectful caramel latte on opening day. Will be going back for a second.

The coffee shop is gorgeous! I kinda wish they had more books. The staff is super nice. Atmosphere is fantastic especially the music and lighting. The coffee was decent, I think better syrups and more refining would help. Definitely need a stronger coffee flavor in the dessert coffee. Will be back 🙂

I love going in there!
Sometimes It’s been a struggle finding a drink you like!
There croissants are super good!
There Taylor Swift drink is good!
I personally like Pink Era (it has strawberry and vanilla frappe).
It’s a game changer. I hope they can put that on the menu for favorites!
Personally, I usually keep it simple like ice coffee.

I’m purely giving food 4 stars because I’m not a coffee environment person. My fiance is. But this place is amazing. The environment is so unique, and I love the old book and record theme. You can purchase old records and books and even old coffee mugs it’s very very cool. The coffee is also very very good. This place could be in big cities and small towns and it will have something everyone in the family will think is cool.

The cutest coffee shop in Centralia, MO! Delicious coffee, cozy nooks and couches for catching up with friends and family and books and vinyl records galore. Friendly staff and the best atmosphere right on the city square. Book & Bean is our new favorite spot in town!
