Overall: 3.5/5

If you’re craving ramen around the Killington area, Yama gets the job done mainly because it’s one of the only options around. The tonkatsu ramen was decent overall, though definitely on the saltier side. We also ordered the chashu bao bun, which ended up being slightly better; while the meat was a bit rough, the sauce pairing worked really well so it was still really tasty and love that they pack it out for you.

We also loved the self-serve tea section, which was a nice touch and a great addition to the experience.

The staff was wonderful and super attentive to my severe gluten sensitivity.

The establishment does not have a lot of seating options, the music was very loud, and the food options were limited.

The menu consists of 3 main ramen options, two of which offer either a spicy or mild version. Our family ended up having one of each ramen, (non-spicy.) It wasn’t bad but we definitely have had more flavorful and enjoyable ramen elsewhere at a better cost. Our 3 bowls of ramen and 1 spring roll was just over $80 out the door, (yikes!!!)

Overall, we all felt that the ramen was decent but could be so much better and that it wasn’t worth the price. Unfortunately we don’t plan to return for a future visit.

This place ROCKS! Sometimes in ski towns, restaurants think they can serve mediocre food due to the lack of options… that is not the case here. Yama Ramen is serving up some tasty ramen. The coco curry ramen was PHENOMENAL! The Bao Bun so flavorful! Quick service, nice staff. Will definitely return when I’m in the area.

I loved this place so much that I went back the next night and ordered the same thing. I was there in July, versus the busy ski season, so I had no trouble with a wait or seating and can’t comment on that, but it was fun to sit out on the deck with my dog and people watch. They had free tea at the door to sip on while waiting for food to be ready. The staff was super friendly and helpful with providing suggestions if you’re new to ramen.

One of my favorite restaurants to eat at on the mountain.. They have the absolute BEST banh mi! Don’t skip the Gang Gang Shrimp, Summer Rolls, or the Tonkotsu Spicy Ramen. Thank me later

I just got back from Japan last month, and this was my first ramen since the trip. My expectations weren’t super high for a ski town, and I was totally surprised by how great the food was. The curry ramen, miso ramen, and tonkotsu ramen were all excellent. For appetizers, the bao buns were unreal as were the spring rolls. 10/10 food, lovely outdoor ambiance (we sat outside in the summer), and wonderful service! My parents loved the complimentary tea. And we all loved meeting the owner and hearing her story. This is a gem of a restaurant in Killington and a must-go for any weekend trip!

Stellar views, wonderful service and delicious food. Chuckie would be proud!

We got the summer roll, banh mi and tonkotsu ramen. If you get ANY of those, get the Stowe Cider. Never had anything like it and it paired perfectly.

This ramen was exactly what we needed after a cold day on the slopes! The service was great, accommodating, and quick. Prices were reasonable for a touristy area and the quantity of food. Only down side was that the place was somewhat small with really only on 6 too table that allows you to face everyone in your party (the rest with bar like seating along the walls). We would definitely return!

So good!! The pork Bahn Mi is literally one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. We are locals and regulars and love everything on the menu. The Bao Chicka Baos are tremendous. French fries are fantastic. And the ramen always hits the spot too!

Hit the spot after long day of snowboarding. Not run by Asian people lol, but better than expected. Free hot tea warmed me up. When the server handed me my ramen, her thumb slightly dipped into the broth long line and wait time. Pricey for what it was
