We’ve visited before and have typically had a good experience, which made this visit especially disappointing.
The atmosphere was great and the service from our server was good. It did seem like there may have only been one server covering the restaurant at the time, so there was a bit of a wait. There were other staff present, but they appeared to be focused on the bar area.
Unfortunately, the food was the issue. We ordered the spinach dip, a smash burger with fries, and a blackened chicken Alfredo. The spin dip was a bit on the cooler side, but quite tasty. But when the main courses came out, things took a bad turn… The burger came out very pink (the bun was soaked red). When I mentioned it wasn’t cooked well, the person who delivered the food (not our server, but I believe possibly the manager) responded that it was a 4oz smash burger and they are always cooked (sorry to disagree, but it definitely wasn’t well done)… Now, when I think of a smash burger, I expect a thin patty with a crispy crust, not a thicker patty, but regardless, this one was clearly undercooked.
Fast forward a minute and we noticed that the chicken on the Alfredo was still raw inside. We finally flagged down our server a few minutes later and showed her. She was genuinely appalled and very apologetic (which we appreciated). We made it clear it was not her fault, but at that point we no longer wanted the meals. We asked to just pay for our drinks and appetizer.
What was most disappointing was that the manager did not come to the table to apologize or attempt to make things right. We paid our bill and left. Perhaps it was just an off night in the kitchen, but based on this experience, we will not be returning anytime soon.

Started with a coffee, which was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and kept my coffee filled. My friend has gluten allergies and he was very helpful with helping them pick delicious options. I had the Chicken Marsala. It was delicious and tender, very flavorful. Topped it all off with a Peanut Butter Mousse cake, that was divine. Comfy atmosphere and my friend and I sat and talked for quite a long time. Various unique decor and paintings. Overall a wonderful dining experience.

Great food, my vegan power bowl was fresh, flavorful, imaginative, and delicious. Our entire party was pleased with their dishes. Our drinks from the bar were yummy (and not watered down)! Cute interior with fun art. Our server anticipated our every need and was fun and witty. Plenty of free street parking.

Delicious food, especially for the clearly-labeled vegan options! Service was a bit awkward, with our waitress leaving us for a “few minutes” but was gone for quite some time until we had to ask another waiter to find her. Otherwise a great place with great food and great background music!

I have not shut up about this place since we left. It was DELICIOUS. I simply can’t say that enough. Pictured is their braised pork pappardelle. The menu had lots of options that all sounded amazing. It is slightly more expensive than our typical dinner spot, but it was well worth it.

We were here with a large group. The food and service were excellent. The brussel sprouts appetizer was very good. I had the cobb salad and it was much larger than I expected and had great flavor.

The Brussel sprout appetizer was outstanding! My husband’s Cuban was good, but my spaghetti, though tasty, was luke-warm – at best. The server was AWESOME, apologized, and said she would speak to her manager. She came back and said the manager would take 1/2 off. Though that was not my goal, I certainly think the manager missed a valuable opportunity by not coming to our table and speaking with us directly. Customers are extremely valuable, and the 1/2 off message, with no sidebar, sent a message of, “I’m going to appease you, but I don’t really believe you.” Our server was rewarded with a tip she earned for outstanding service.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Holy cow what an awesome restaurant!! We had the greatest experience here with family. We visited on a Monday evening. Although it was pretty busy for a Monday we were seated and helped immediately. All the staff was great and very accommodating to everyone in the restaurant. To start we ordered the Brussels and Bacon and pretzel bites. The Brussels and Bacon is a MUST-HAVE! It has the perfect amount of sweet and savory with the best bacon!! We ordered a Lavender Martini and Pomegranate Paloma both were fantastic. For dinner we ordered several burgers which were all great! We ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Risotto. The shrimp and scallops were large and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the Walleye bites which were so delicious. They tasted great with a little spicy bite. Lastly we had the cheesecake and creme brûlée. Both desserts were amazing. If you haven’t stopped by to have a bite to eat, you definitely need to visit!! You will have a fantastic experience.

Server was spot on very sweet. The backend fish was the most bland dry thing Iv eaten in a long time. The green beans are trash. The mashed potatoes tho they are AWESOME! everyone else loved their food i was with but that blacked fish was horrific. I eat alot of fish so I know when fish has been ruined from cooking it wrong. For the price I expected alot more.

I’m new to BG and have a daughter , I searched Google for best restaurants for kids and this came up. I’m not saying it wasn’t a lovely restaurant where children were welcomed but it’s not really a kid focused restaurant. The kids menu had 3 things : chicken chunks , cheeseburger and spaghetti ( don’t get me wrong great kid options ). This is a wonderful restaurant with great food but I would not say the focus is children LOL I’ll come back but probably for a business meeting or a date
