We used to eat here once or twice a week until we moved our office. Today we revisited this place and wanted to see if the food was still as good as before. The service was still very good and friendly, but unfortunately the food didn’t taste as good as before. The dry noodles were pretty good, but the rest was bit below expectations. For example, the pork hocks tasted average but many hair left unplucked. The 水煎包 grilled buns’ flavor was okay, but the skin was too thick and chewy. The street wantons’ wraps were way too thick and some parts weren’t cooked through. Finally the mixed appetizer (攪和攪和) really needs improvement. The cucumbers had no flavor and the seaweeds were way undercooked, nearly raw. I guess things change and as well as tastes, even at one your old favorites.

A solid place for marinated platter and spicy dan dan noodles. They have a promotion going on right now for $7.99 for dan dan noodles. Their portions are good sized, and one order can easily feed one person. The biggest problem this place has is inconsistency. Sometimes it’s pretty good, and sometimes it is just alright…A nice option if you’re looking for marinated platter, not every place has it anymore.

An alright Chinese diner kind of food. There was absolutely no wait for this restaurant.
Their portion sizes are decent and the pricing is ok given the current economy.
The pork chop doesn’t come cut which was strange, but at least they don’t use too much batter when cooking it.
The cold dish set comes with a lot of cilantro, so if you’re a fan of it, it’s pretty decent value.
One thing to note is the noodles had a little too much oil at the bottom than I felt was necessary, but overall still pretty good.
This can be a decent back up option to eat at if the eateries in the area are jam packed.

I had thought I gave a review already to this place, but I guess I haven’t . I have been going here for quite some time. I have seen this place remodel throughout the years and no matter how much they upgrade the look, the food has always been good. This restaurant I say has the best combination cold plate. All of their other food is just really packed with flavor, so def go try it out! Keep in mind that they do accept credit card and accept Mobile Pay.
Food
This is what I usually order here:
Dings Special (4) Cold Plate- Bean Curd, Pig Ear, Seaweed and Beef – this is a MUST try. You can choose your own spicy level but this for sure is a must try. Ingredients feel fresh.
Beef Roll Wrap- traditional beef wrap packed w flavor
Shanghai Rice Cake- always pretty good here , recommend to finish day of as next day may not be as good
Dan Dan Noodles- I always order this a bit spicier, but it is packed with flavor. Only thing I wish is if it has some more meat or something .
This place again has been here for so long, it is next to boiling crab before it existed in this plaza. You will really not be disappointed to try this place out. The only thing is that the food may be a bit more oilier with the chili oil, etc, but just get some hot tea to wash it down. Can’t wait to come back !

Clean and bright restaurant. Excellent cold cut charcuterie, visually impressive and full of flavor. The stewed pig feet is thoroughly cooked but still retain a firmness for those who enjoy a bit of a fight. The fried rice with deep fried pork chop and a stewed egg is a satisfying combination. The pork chop is so crispy yet juicy. I really enjoyed my visit.

Price increased, dumpling size shrunk. Same good ‘ol MSG 攪和攪和. Quality okay but pandemic-laced inflation, just like everything else.

Their food is amazing and the price is fair. I had the Ma po tofu and wintermelon drink. Both were fantastic. 太好吃了!

Shanghai rice cake is good, would be better with less oil and more seasoning. Fast service.
