The server was very friendly and on top of everything. The food tasted amazing. The amount of food was enough for 2 meals. Definitely worth the money. Out of the 6 of us everyone was happy with their meal.

We were in Long Beach for the afternoon. We had eaten at El Mar Mexican restaurant before during a very busy time and it didn’t leave a lasting impression. We thought that we would get our food and eat in the park across the street because we had our dog with us. It was super windy so we decided to eat inside. Boy were we glad that we did… The margaritas were absolutely excellent. The guacamole was so good I could have eaten three bowls of it. The chips were good and kept coming. The food was delicious. The service was prompt and welcoming. The only thing I wish is that they were near where I live, so I could go there more often. From now on every single time we go to Long Beach we’re going to come here to eat.

I added salsa to my tacos . Loved the atmosphere and the food. Prices are good. It took awhile to get our food worth the wait though. My drink was the mangolada and it tasted just like the Chilli mango lollipops. I recommend the Shredded beef tacos for sure.

Ok. Most places in Long Beach have odd hours or don’t allow kids. We were hungry. This place did not disappoint. The meat in the burrito could have had more if a kick, but value and zero wait, a strong margarita, excellent service, and a sparkling clean bathroom are all winners in my book. After a long day “beaching” it, this was a perfect stop for us. Chicken strips, 2veggie tacos and one chicken, super burrito (with everything including guac!). With drinks and a marg, bill was around $50.

Okay, I chose this place originally because they stayed open late. Most of the restaurants were closing at 8:00 p.m. This place said they were open till 10:00. The service was excellent, the food was good and reasonably priced. It was a little small and cramped although some might say it’s cozy! Yes I’ll be back.

Pulled into town hungery from our ride in. Was not in the mood for seafood. Walked around and bumped into El Mar. The food was great. Authentic food, nice staff. We will be stopping in again next time we are at the beach.

The drink was spectacular, but as for the food don’t let the picture fool you you couldn’t even bite through the meat , it was so tough no flavor, and it was put into greasy water broth at the bottom. Absolutely the worst I have had yet.

The steak fajitas and fried ice cream are both to die for. Appreciate the rice and beans served with the meal. Wonderful service and good food. Family friendly, will definitely be back again

The service was amazing, and the chips and salsa was supreme. They also gave us free lollipops after! Also, the food arrived pretty fast, we didn’t really need to sit around and wait. I very much recommend ordering here!
