I LOVE Rockland Bakery. The people are friendly, and the food is amazing. They make the donuts fresh every morning on site! Hands down the better pastry from any chain coffee place. I will go out of my way in the morning to grab something delicious to start my day. Today’s choice was the cappuccino chocolate chip muffins. Parking can be hard sometimes but it’s worth it!

Cookies were soggy, esclair tasted eggy and the shell wasn’t cooked enough, cannoli could use more sugar but did appear to be fresh just wasn’t sweet.

I ordered a few weeks ahead for a small basic cake with chocolate frosting and two different cookies, 4 dozen each. They definitely heard me say several times, “one layer, 7” yellow cake with choc frosting”, also 4 dozen SMALL black/white cookies and 4 dozen lemon cookies with confect sugar powder. They did tell me the cake and possible the cookies would come via Nanuet and they would bring it all up for me. We were picking up on a Friday morning in our way to our daughters wedding in Woodstock. I made clear this is for my daughter wedding and she wanted a tiny cake to just cut with her new husband- not to hand out. She wanted to decorate with some natural flowers she had. On Tuesday that week they called and got Nanuet on the phone also, to tell me NO, I “needed” to order a layer cake so I asked my daughter what she wanted for a filling, “rasberry” was what she wanted. Well, pick up was CRAZY!! No mini black and whites at all, a decorated two layer cake and the lemon cookies were different than the ones we saw in the case. They “gave” us 6 regular size black and whites to replace and charged us 80.00 for all of it!! I was floored!!! This is not wa hat we ordered at all. It was upsetting but it was my girl’s wedding so I did not complain until afterwards. My daughter in law smoothed the cake and took off all of the decorations so that I could put the pretty real flowers on the cake. When cut, the cake not only had raspberries but also some white “stuff” in it (Maybe cream cheese?? We have no idea.) they got cute pic of cutting it but no eating due to NOT WHAT THEY WANTED .
I am floored… We will be stopping in to complain in person but this week we also lost a family member so it has been a bad week for us after the high of the wedding.

I’ve walked in here multiple times. It’s always a ok interaction not really inviting in the sense not even a hi how are you doing.
Service: I’ve received two incorrect cakes before, another time they didn’t deliver the cake to the correct location, another time they put the wrong frosting or failed to acknowledge they don’t put that frosting on that cake, called the incorrect number because the girl wrote it wrong even though we went over it twice on the phone to tell me they can’t make the cake in time.
Food: great taste, just sometimes they don’t tell you if you can put a certain frosting on or not so make sure you ask them to confirm

The bevarian cream donuts I ordered there were pretty good.
However, I think that over half of the Oohh and aaahh of going to Rockland bakery, is being able to enter the back area of the bakery, where all the factory equipment is, at least in their New City location.
There, you get to see all kinds of bagels being made LIVE.
It’s all RIGHT THERE for you to see, when you go into the factory area, and believe me, they let you go in.
So all that being said, good food, but 0% fun experience.

I went there to buy some pastries for my mom’s birthday today. I told the girl At counter i was looking for some pastries to take to my mother for her birthday. This is what I got!!! : I asked for the mouse cup to be boxed separately so the wood not get mess up they were put in a box that was too big and fell over and were a mess and in the other box was a soggy day old cannoli and the broken almond horn. Won’t be going back very disappointed. The girl should be ashamed and knew what she was doing. Better off spending the extra money and driving to Rockland county to the main bakery then going local and getting overpriced priced old bakery goods

The staff has always been very nice and the food they make at this actual store is what I prefer to get. I have never been to their main location further south of here but supposedly the rest of the other items are shipped daily.
Pastries were a very good price and tasty. The cheese danish is very good and fresh. They serve cakes, pies, regular style coffee, bagels and many varieties of bread.
The owner was very respectful of my little kids eating a cookie by telling a loud foul language patron to keep it down since there are children here. That was nice and appreciated in this day and age.
Many locals and regulars come here.

First time here & recommended by my coworker. Very happy I came here. The fragrance when I first walked in the door smelled great! lots of choices: bagels, cookies, pastries, cakes. I was only going to get some cookies but couldn’t resist adding some pastries to take back to my coworkers. Customer service was great too! I didn’t wait long before being helped. My arrival time was Sunday at 11am. I will be back soon.
