This business is not 100% vegan. After questioning the cashier several times about the goat meat and shrimp options available on the menu, she said those options were vegetarian, so I questioned her about the restaurant being advertised as vegan, and trying to assure if the food options were free of cow’s milk, fish all that stuff. She kept saying yes, but something didn’t sit right with me. She said “it was all veggies and menu was vegan” so I continued questioning her about the goat meat options available on the menu which made me feel really bad. I respect this woman making her living and don’t wanna sound inconvenient at all. But they don’t sell what is advertised. Please ask questions and make sure you’re getting an animal cruelty free meal before you order from this business. The whole thing sounded contradictory. So please, be really aware they’re not 100% vegan. They use vegan on their name, to attract more people (I guess) but they’re far from being a vegan business. I hope one day this can change.
The food was like 99% rice and 1% veggies (peas, cauliflower and carrots) I don’t recommend this business, unless you’re really hungry and nothing else is available/opened.
Blessings.

The food was good but they are NOT a vegan restaurant. They have about 10 items on their menu that are vegan. When we questioned whether their lentil crackers were vegan, we did not trust our waiter’s response. Overall, I recommend choosing a real vegan restaurant and foregoing this place.

Great service and food. Bubbly was our server and she was very attentive and kind. She recommended different drinks and sides based on the entrees we chose which was really considerate since it was our first time dining there. Vegan options are basically endless and the vegan mango lassi made my day. Lovely restaurant.

My wife and I are vegetarian and really enjoyed the food, service, and music here. It reminded me of Indian restaurants on Brick Lane in London. One thing to note: this place is not strictly a vegan restaurant as advertised, but they do have vegan options on the menu.

Don’t advertise as vegan if you’re not vegan. A vegan meal involves no animal products whatsoever because we are disgusted with the cruelty and exploitation. And you should be too!

Good food, but this is **NOT a vegan restaurant. This is a regular Indian restaurant that has a couple vegan options. When you call to place the order, the people on the phone do not know what you are talking about. It was good food, but a total lie… so 3 stars?

NOT a vegan restaurant as their website tries to appear, just a separate vegan menu at a standard Indian restaurant. They even have their slaughter certificate posted up on the front window! Also they illegally discriminated against me for having my medically necessary service dog even after I tried to explain to them that they were violating the federal Americans with Disabilities Act. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I am just leaving one star because although the food smelled great, this is not actually a vegan restaurant. This is very misleading. I was looking for a dedicated vegan restaurant (no cross contamination) and thankfully before I ate anything, I noticed that it’s being run out of a general meat restaurant and left. To be honest, it felt so disrespectful to advertise a dedicated vegan restaurant and realize it’s mixed with meat and dairy.

The actual name of the restaurant is India Restaurant. They do have a few vegan options but they are not a vegan establishment. I thought the food was pretty spectacular and surprisingly affordable. I definitely recommend.

The Vegetable Zalfrazi and Naan were aight. It made m full, but definitely wouldn’t be placed on my list of fav Indian Places.
There wasn’t enough base in this dish. I wanted more of the soup like liquid in this dish, but it was plagued with veggies instead. I wanted balance. It was good, but nothing spectacular.
The disappointment came when I tasted the Naan. It tasted like pure flour. Pure enriched, bleached, flour with seeds in it to give it taste. It was basically seasoned flour. It didn’t taste like the Naan bread I’m used to, and this new vegan one wasn’t it.
Overall, the veggies were good, but besides that, nothing else did it for me.
