We’ve been coming here since they opened. I love Arepa Queen and their service is really great. We’ve tried almost all of the arepas and they are always really good! My favorite arepas are the tropical, queen, and now the pork belly! Their cachapas, empanadas, and tres leches are really good as well. We usually order tequenos and noticed how small they are now compared to before and from their IG posts. That was a bit disappointing. Hopefully, it was just how they were made that day.

This is a great little spot. My wife and I ordered the King and Queen Arepas and shared. They were absolutely delicious. We also had 2 pastelitos one beef and one chicken. The pastry shells were flaky and the fillings were super savory. If you are in the area definitely don’t pass this place by. My wife got the Chicha rice drink, more of a yogurt like dessert than a drink very thick and very sweet with cinnamon.

My 2 1/2 year-old daughter has really been into the movie Encanto.
The other day her and I were sitting watching it and she asked mommy what is Mirabel eating?
I said her mommy made her Arepa con queso.
We went on talking about how different cultures eat different foods. Mind you she’s a very picky eater.
So I saw that she was really taking it in and starting to pay attention to the movie itself, last night was her 2 1/2 year birthmark. So I told her we can go eat wherever she wanted for dinner.
She said she wanted to be like Mirabel and go get in an Arepa.
I was surprised because of how picky she is.. so we got in the car and drove down to the Frederick location. We were greeted by the sweetest human. He gave her a Venezuelan white chocolate, a red heart balloon, and was so patient when she tried to order her own food.
She sat and ate the whole thing!!!!!

I wouldn’t take it out and I got the King meal with a beef empanada and OMG! It is so delicious! Not only that but walking in with a customer service was phenomenal! They had smiles on our faces the service was really fast the food is super fresh I’ve never had Venezuelan food beforebut let me tell you it’s super delicious! I can’t wait to come back here again! Wonderful wonderful wonderful atmosphere here!

If you’re looking for an authentic, delicious bite, Arepa Queen is a must-visit! The shredded beef empanada was hands down one of the juiciest and freshest I’ve ever had—the filling was perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. The tres leches cake? Incredible. It was moist, sweet, and had just the right balance of richness. Honestly, some of the best I’ve tasted.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the owner. He’s always welcoming, with a big smile on his face, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his food and customers. The warmth he brings to the place makes every visit feel special. Highly recommend!

Didn’t know what to expect or what I was going to get, but the young guy at the register made it extremely easy. He explained everything and helped me decide. The food is made fresh to order, and the taste is phenomenal! Most definitely will be a returning customer.

My husband and I tried this place out. Amazing food. The cashier was super friendly and gladly explained all the options. There are options for almost all menu items to be gluten free and they have a dedicated gluten free fryer! We will definitely be back.

Wanted to try something that was not in the area where I live(out of state). At the register they were nice to explain to me the different options. While waiting for my order, a nice chat was started and felt more welcomed. I ordered the cachapa king. The combination of the shredded beef, w the sweet plantains, beans, and the cheese was exceptional. Especially the cheese. That cheese gave it a unique taste. Would highly recommend this place. If I lived in the area, I would probably try more of the things they offer, like the desserts. If I’m ever back in the area, I would stop by again. Saludos desde Texas and Mexico
