Food was excellent! I had the brown stew chicken, cabbage, rice and beans and all items were very flavorful! My son had the jerk chicken and mac n cheese. He chose the mild sauce which had a good kick and great flavor. Would highly recommend. Portions are generous.

Me and my husband tried this restaurant for the first time and the service alone from Omar and Chef Robert was amazing and outstanding. Very professional and very accommodating. We got a plate of oxtails with two sides and we also got a combination plate with curry Mutton and oxtails with 2 sides. The food was great , the oxtails especially . We like our food spicy and chef made that possible for us . The only thing I would say can be improved is a bit more flavor in the curry mutton but that’s probably cause i like my food a bit high seasoned ( but I understand when you’re cooking for a large amount of people you can’t over seasoned) But I can tell you the mutton was good and HAD NO RANK Or Strong Goat taste , they did well . And to top off our experience we had also tried the Jamaican beef hot Patty which was so gooood and we also Got Blessed with one . We will definitely be back . May God Continue to Bless this Business . Started to eat and couldn’t stop and didn’t take any pictures.

Ive given this place 3 tries and they piss me off everytime! The problem is I’m actually Jamaican and whoever the cook is here clearly isn’t. Nvm the sign outfront that says Oxtails with an S, thats your first warning. They use the wrong curry and add things they shouldn’t. They have no idea what stew chicken or brown stew chicken actually is, just that its brown. The only half decent thing here is the Oxtail”s” (-_-) except they’re charging like 25$+ for it and the damn beef patties at 5$+.. Oh did I mention the Curry Goat starts at 20$ i just left NYC where curry goat is 14$.. So basically you need to be rich, havr no taste buds, and br unfamiliar with actual Jamaican food. Otherwise its just vexation waiting for you here. The Staff are also very nice and courteous. They dont even realize thats the Opposite of what happens in an actual Jamaican restaurant ..

Asked for a beef patty with mozzarella cheese
The lady said we have mozzarella but then I get a burned beef patty with American cheese. Then when I come to try to exchange for something of equivalent price the Arabic lady throws a plain beef patty in my bag then waves me off like I’m pissing her off. Y’all got my little order wrong so it should be an apology and try to fix the situation. A real Jamaican know damn well we don’t eat no American cheese inna burnt patty smh. First and last time ever going there

I don’t under how you can say this review sounds racist. I said nothing racist. If it was a white lady as a cashier who did the same thing I’d say the Caucasian lady, black person id say the blk lady. Nothing racist about pointing out the description of your worker and the fact that instead fixing the solution because I never asked for American cheese. I asked for mozzarella and she said yall have mozzarella when yall don’t sell mozzarella should’ve been said. Instead she kept saying yes we have it then got mad when I wanted to change my order. That’s no where near racist. Learn the difference

All of your reviews are distinctly to argue with possible returning customers. Never to fix the situation. The ones where you do try to rectify the situation the are of other race. I had a very good experience eating here. Staff was friendly, I didn’t feel rushed and food was explained clearly answering all questions. We tried curry goat , brown stew chicken and jerk chicken. Portions were great . Enough for 2 meals on one plate. Plenty of things to try. A definite place to return to.

Naja (not sure if I have the correct spelling) she was upbeat, enduring, she knew her products and was able to inspiring to purchase more than what I intended on. Her personality was great and personable. I appreciated her attention to my little one (4 yr old) and making sure there was something he could eat since everything on the menu was too spicy. Over all great experience for myself and husband. I recommend and will absolutely be back. Good food, great service and cool clean atmosphere.

Was in town for an event and wanted Jamaican food. Found this place on Google. Ordered the meat (jerk chicken + ox tails) combo with 3 sides (cabbage, Mac & cheese, and yams! Also ordered brown stew chicken & got some jamaican patties. All for less than $30. I had to go a 2nd time before I left town! I highly recommend due to prices, savory food, portion size is good, no wait times, and good customer service. Ms. Smith, I will be back in the near future to order from you again. Thanks!
