Asked for light sauce and well done.
Pizza had enough sauce for 2 pies and was not well done. New to bardstown and I’m finding out people just don’t care about cooking good food here. Sad really because last week it was good.

Went in for carryout. Store was a wreck, trash all over the place. What really set it off was the cashier, if he wasn’t worried about looking cool and flirting with the girls making pizza’s maybe the store wouldn’t look the way it did. You could tell it was upsetting other employees because he kept interrupting them doing their job. I got extra garlic butter and if he wasn’t so focused on juggling them to look cool for the girls he was flirting with he wouldn’t have had to interrupt the gentleman cutting pizza to get more. It’s not cute, even I was uncomfortable with it and I wasn’t inside all but five minutes.

Order two pizzas, one with extra cheese the other sausage. The extra cheese wasn’t extra cheese at all. The crust was super thin (when ordered hand tossed regular crust), little to no sauce, and a scarce amount of cheese. The sausage as you see.. was burnt. When I called Papa John’s to complain, they said to bring the pizza back, and they will give another. Completely inconvenient running back to town only to get another pizza that was only another disappointment. I normally have no complaints of Papa John’s, this is a first and it makes me never want to order from them again.

I rarely order from here because I prefer pizza hut. However.. my husband loves Papa John’s pizza, we order a pepperoni with light sauce pizza for our children and after it got delivered the pizza had no sauce and no cheese! I was very disappointed my kiddos were waiting on their food for a little over half an hour. Only 2 slices of the pizza was eaten, they were the only ones with somewhat cheese! I get that they’re tired and busy but I hope they can pay more attention on what they’re doing

Up to late November, we’ve spent $1700 this year on papa john’s. But service keeps getting spottier and this was the last straw — behold the 15 piece chicken nuggets! Pathetic. I call to complain, no response. I go to the website and lodge 2 complaints, no response. I send a letter to corporate, no response. By this point I figure they’re laughing at me — problem with small town operations when your favorite place won’t give you the time of day. Would spitting in my food be next? Not gonna risk it, Dominos it is!

Quick pizza finished in 15 minutes. It tastes great! I hate to leave a review like this, but this is the third time I’ve ordered a pizza and the cutting of the pizza has been absolutely atrocious. I know it’s a minor thing, but this really surprised me. Here is the pizza I received today, a baby slice and two square nosed cuts. I know the service is supposed to be fast, but don’t sacrifice quality for speed. Once again, it tasted amazing, but I have consistently gotten weird cuts from this location.

I haven’t ordered Papa John’s in quite a while. Picked up carry out for lunch today and it was great! Ready on time and fresh. The staff who helped me were very polite and friendly! We will go here more often 🙂
